Well all I know is there were long waits at the terminals for the first time since the shutdown .

And with summer and more sunny weather on it's way there will be lots more lineups to get on the ferries. This is why this shutdown needs to end. I cannot see parents with children staying at home all summer long instead of being able to take the kids camping, going to the beach, or go travelling somewhere. Let's all shut this bull shit virus down and let's all just get back to normal and once again start to socialize with no social distancing involved. Works for me. Lol.

Not like the media was told to make it out to be. To start with there are no ferries from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. There have been sailings cancelled on the other two routes as well. The rest of the ferries are limited to 50% of passenger capacity, so 98% full really only represents 49% of normal.

It is getting to the point that our dear comrade leaders and the bought off media are trying to make our lives more miserable than what they are already. Those two enjoy telling us all a bunch of fibs. I will never trust those two ever again. They both lie like a trooper. If the media or our politicians ever told the truth it would be a bloody miracle.

The only reason Provincial Parks are closed is because the Victoria bureaucraps refuse to work and supervise the operations . Why should they when so many of their brothers and sisters in other departments are hibernating .

Not Municipal parks . And the same reason National Parks are closed is the same as stated below . Dr . Bonney Henry says getting out side is the best thing to do in this pandemic just to maintain social distance . But what would she know ?

Yup. Normally I'd be parking my camper in a line up to get a spot at regional park at this time of year. Good thing I have a propane genny, a 500L potable water tank and 4 100lb propane tanks and can camp anywhere for several weeks.

Yup the golf courses are all open , but we can’t go to Long Beach .
what golf courses are open?

this feels like fake news having something to do with climate change or indigenous people.

Who's teet is Ottawa suckling on?

Why hasn't the equalisation program been tweaked in the reality of low Oil prices and lower profits per GDP in the Oil producing provinces?

Equalization will be 'tweaked' when there is no cash flowing West to East... An interesting upside is that some Western provinces now qualify as Have-Not and should get bags of cash from tater tot... Kinda funny and ironic

Yep that's why they locked the formula in for another multi year term, so money stream doesn't reverse causing Quebec and Ontario to pay and not receive.

What are the chances that whole 25% story is just Kenney shaking branches to see if any fruit falls to the ground? He hands out a few billion to the oil companies, some of it snapped up by outfits as they run for the border, lowers the corporate tax rate and then goes whining to Ottawa for help. The guy is a piece of work for sure.

Hush, truth. You'll interrupt the fantasies of all the Westerners envisioning themselves taking up arms against EEE-vil Ottawa, to establish a New Republic where men are men and sheep are nervous.
