.. So, how about it. What is this compelling proof of AGW, particularly in the face that all of these mechanisms have been exemplified (in the extreme) in the distant past as well as variable fluctuations in the recent past (ie 20-30 years)?
In fact, perhaps you can shed some light on the issue as to why the lobbies faound it necessary to re-invent themselves through an alternate marketing campaign.
As far as Gore and the 1800's are concerned, you had your chance to set the time frame... Don't go moving the goal posts now that you've painted yourself into a corner.

Is the planet not warming? What is the driver of this warming? I suppose you have links to the peer reviewed papers and a list of scientific societies that agree with this trend of warming and the causes.

In fact, I think that this was around the time that there was mass admissions of the frauds surrounding the pre-engineered climate models that supported the AGW claims.. If memory serves, they were peer reviewed too.

I was watching ABC News last night and saw the AGW Cult is claiming the floods in Australia and Brazil, the winter blizzards and record cold records in the Northern Hemisphere.. are all a result of.. you guessed it, Anthropogenic Global Warming.
It's evident that this fraud has decided that ANY climate condition proves its theory.. irrespective of its utter failure to predict any climate conditions EVER.. and in the face of the widely accepted notion that it is COLD that produces turbulent weather. They have clearly decided they no longer need proof, and AGW must be accepted as matter of FAITH. And they seem to have no shortage of postulants who grovel (in the media and in cowed scientific bureacracies) before their computer models, in the face of overwhelming evidence that this is HOAX.
I wouldn't give it much thought, except that the solutions... in Kyoto and Carbon Credits, will bring on mammoth economic misery and collapse, while enriching beyond imagination a small autocracy of power brokers. This is what you have to realize about the pagan cult of radical environmentalism, it is a viciously antihuman game of power, aimed at accumulating riches by reducing much of world's population to slavery.
