I've been seeing on facebook, a steady stream of pictures of rubber boot wearing people with smiling faces, emptying basements and hauling sandbags. it makes me proud to be even loosely associated with the communities involved. This pic was just the icing on that cake.

After last night's heavy thundeshowers the hole in basement that was working fine with tthe bilge pump became a geyser.

3 weeks after the kid moves away she finally gets her pool.

At least I'm not losing income or my entire home like so many in S.E. SK and MB are.

I have kin folk that farm near Boissevain MB. They won't be planting a crop this year and quite possibly next.
