A mysterious compulsion to obey

Just a question; if a man speaks in the forest, and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?;-)
From what I've read here, I'd say that women has it all wrong. The compulsion to obey is a man thing.
Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before, "if I want your opinion I'll give it to you". Men can hear you, they just choose not to listen. We're not stupid, we just act that way to keep ourselves from getting deeper into trouble.;-)
I don't know if it's a good idea to be discussing man secrets out in the open like that.;-)
Who is the "we" you are calling stupid? Hey wait, Mom, is that you? We never shoulda given you that computer for x-mas:angry3:
Yeah, I guess you and I have been around long enough to know it ain't that much of a secret, but let the young'ns figger that out fer themselves.
Here's one I picked up from a few men's groups back in the nineties in the Slocan Valley. It is a complaint I heard from a lot of men.
When men get into a new relationship, they tend to lay a lot of their cards on the table: hangups, idiosyncrasies, bad habits and such. The complain was that women tend to collect those things for a time when they are pissed about something (which is always kept a mystery, and they use all those cards as weapons to shred the guy's ego. Any other guys ever experience that one (if you got the nads to say so)?

They seem to have extraordinary memories for little snubs from ages past,in one case..a word said 55 years ago. The word was "stupid' and said by one of my sisters to another.Neither will forgive or forget this.
I don't know why women do that. I guess we had to adapt mentally since males are bigger and stronger than us. Learning how to be cunning and manipulative was totally necessary in order to avoid getting clubbed on the head and dragged off by our hair.
