They ware also 200 years ahead of Western injuns.

The Cree adapted so well they took Dene as slaves. That is how Great Slave Lake got its name

All that peace, love and harmony ya know.

The Inuit only entered the Canadian Arctic around the same time that the Norse arrived in Greenland. The Inuit totally wiped out the physically different "Dorset People" who were here for thousands of years and they even have an historic memory of hunting and killing them all off. There is archaelogy all over the North that confirms this.

There is even a theory that the presence of the Norse, who traded iron and steel goods drew the Inuit ever Eastwards right into Greenland from Siberia, wiping out everyone in their path and eventually, the Norse of Greenland.

Looks like its part of nature.

There is actually wonderful technology out there. It's just blocked by the oil & gas rates and lacks the infrastructure to support it properly.

Tesla's new $3500 10kWh Powerwall home battery lets you ditch the grid | Inhabitat - Green Design, Innovation, Architecture, Green Building

Clearly the big bad oil cos aren't blocking Tesla's wall-o-batteries. in the end, there is nothing ground breakingly new in the actual battery tech.

My big question relates to exactly what happens to all of the waste materials and heavy metals left over from these batteries when they are no longer recyclable.

The underlying question as far as land claims and whatnot is concerned is; who was here first?.. The Dene? Cree? Blackfoot? Mohawk? Norse? etc, etc, etc... They all can't be first and thusly claim never ending rights

We're all here now and parsing up the population by saying "I'm better than you because my people were here before yours" is vaguely fascist and it flies in the face of what this country is about. P!acating those who believe themselves to be victims doesn't help them in the end and all that it does for us is pander to our sense of guilt.

A more important question is "who is here now?" because that is what we actually have to deal with. There isn't really any places on earth that haven't been invaded/conquered at some point in history. Trying to figure out who had what first is a futile effort with a realistically meaningless answer. Everyone is from the same planet and part of the same race. Time to leave the past behind and move forward.

Ya see! Our ancestors were SLAVES and therefore the Italians owe us!

Can you imagine how valuable an I.O.U. from Italy might be?

In the end bombing the **** out of whoever the fu€k we feel like is just a natural extension of natures survival of the strongest. It's not as god awful as you all make it sound like. I swear we are getting really emotional for nothing these days.

Nature has been killing **** for billions of years. Who gives a ****.

Get over it.

Bombing the fukc out of another group has yet to win a comflict. Usually, it hardens the other guy's resolve to fight on.

It makes politicians look like they are "doing" something without the unpopular business of filling up cemetaries with the bodies of our young men but that, alas, is how wars are won.

They excommunicated us more than a half a millenium ago. None of us have ever looked back. It's the poor, downtrodden Catholics of the world that should burn that place down and split up the gold. I have already won the lottery by being born into a country/continent built and developed by Protestants, rather than a good Catholic place like Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguay, Equador, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala and all of those other places where the Good Catholics have treated each other like $hit for five hundred years.

As long as you confess it, ...

It's working out just as nature intended it too. How else? The weak died and the strong continued.

It's just exactly the way it was supposed to be. Why is there a problem?

How the fu ck do you figure that? Bombs don't kill just the weak. They kill all, weak and strong. Do you EVER think before you post?

You can be weak or strong by association.

The same way all Americans are strong by association by belonging to that country. Boy you have limited intelligence.

A country can be weak or strong. Now you're just disappointing me.
