If there is a God, according to the typical concept of Christianity, isn't that exactly what God does? Are you contending that, under Christianity, God is NOT responsible for natural occurences? There is some other supreme being in control?

I strongly doubt natural disasters are an Act of God... but I believe that He can do so. I think He is all powerful and could surely do whatever He chooses to do.

But to say that every tremor, storm, etc. is God doing it on purpose to me is ludicrous. I think plate tectronics has a little to do with earthquakes and hot winds swirling into the Atlantic from North Africa have a little to do with hurricanes.

The American people are brave and courageous; they love justice and indiscrimination.
While their government bias against the Arabs and Muslims; the American government together with NATO have transgressed on many Arab and Muslim countries: like Libya and Syria and the other Muslim countries.

The American government commit their transgression with raids of their fighting and bombarding planes and with missiles against the Muslim and Arab countries for the behalf of Tel Aviv.

While Tel Aviv will leave the American people with their tragedic catastrophes like the devastating hurricanes and cannot save them. Tel Aviv will not avail the Americans anything against God Almighty.

God does not change His mind; only we contemplate the lessons; He did not promise; but generally speaking God takes revenge of wrong-doers sooner or later: this is not concerning some people apart from others: this is generally speaking; and when God promises He will never go back in His promise.

This is my opinion, it is not revealed in the Torah, Gospel or the Quran, about this case in particular.

Anyhow, it is too early to feel secure.

And I do not think God would like you getting excited about the deaths, injury, and misery of your fellow man. That is clearly what you are doing. You want Hurricane Irene to destroy and kill as much as possible simply so you can come back here and gloat. Your pride supercedes the lives of others.
