Yeah... The proceeds they'll make from the production, extraction and sale of their GORR is the definition of a hardware store.
... Starting to get the picture here on PARTNERSHIP and JOINT VENTURE
Look past your nose already.. I've moved past the drilling company long ago
I've been laughing my azz off at the crutch that you both lean on when you get backed into a corner
What corner?
What a compelling rebuttal.
It was a question, not a rebuttal. There wasn't anything in that particular comment I disagreed with, so why would I rebut it? Why I said "So?" is because this has sfa to do with the topic.
By the way, I notice that you are shy about the responding to the earlier comment inquiring if your services as a mechanic were referred to as a Joint Venture with your client... Maybe you were partners?
I guess you missed the "Nope."
You said, "When you were providing heavy mechanic services to your clients, were you 'partners'?.."
I replied, "Nope. It sure as fµck didn't make me a logging company either. It made me a temporary employee under contract to perform a service."
You said, "Was it a Joint Venture?"
I replied, "Nope. The logging company's purpose is to collect and deliver logs to a mill. My purpose is to repair the logging company's equipment. Two totally different but connected purposes."
If that seems shy to you, I don't really care .... what you think is shy is irrelevant.
Oh, I got what you've been saying a long time ago.
Great... Did the Dene pony-up some cash and invest in EnCana?
I don't know if they came up with cash or not, but they came up with stuff that's worth cash.
How about your investments in the 2 dozen companies you mentioned.. Are you a recognized Joint Venture partner with Coke?
Shares are "A unit of ownership that represents an equal proportion of a company's capital. It entitles its holder (the shareholder) to an equal claim on the company's profits and an equal obligation for the company's debts and losses." I don't give a crap and have no interest in Coke or CIBC other than making dividends from them. A shareholder is not a bank or a pop company.
Quit thinking then.
