And whoever told you the other buildings didn't fall? The debris that fell from the two tallest towers crushed the lower buildings. All the buildings with the exception of Tower 7 were significantly closer to the North and South Towers.

That argument worth absolutly nothing, there was building right next to the wtc, who didnt collapse, wtc7 which wasnt directly next to the wtc did collapse.

The Tampa incident was nothing even close. The Empire State Building was designed to withstand an impact from a ten ton aircraft.. The B-25 that hit the building in 1945 weighed that much and more......it was also carrying around 5,000 lbs of gasoline. When the aircraft hit the building, at the 913 foot level, one of the engines went right through the building and hit another building on the other side . The aircraft impact put an 18 by 20 foot hole in the building and caused extensive damage to the interior structure of the building on two floors, and the fuel caused a four alarm blaze that was eventually put out. As we can all see, the building is still standing 62 years later.

Tinfoil stock is always a good investment.

I don't know how to tell you this Walter, but Brian Mulroney was so hated in Canada that his party went from a majority to just two seats in 93. I can see he was your hero but he's gone....has been for some time now....

So.

The fact that one building that was designed to withstand a crash and does so does not mean another will.

I don't know about that. Engineers usually load a design on the side of caution. I would bet on a designed safety factor of at least 50 percent on the WTC...maybe more.

As I said before, I'm not going to jump on any conspiracy bandwagon but neither would I ridicule any legitimate questions on the subject.............and there are plenty of those.

While I'm not going to jump on any conspiracy bandwagon, that is not what was said. What was said is that in the history of the U.S., fire has not caused the collapse of a steel frame building. As far as I can tell, this is true.

It is not true. Lots of steel buildings have collapsed. They didn't have sufficient fire protection/insulation to protect the steel from weakening. It is true that no building built to the standards of the WTC has collapsed due to fire but none of those have had their insulation so badly damaged by such massive flying projectiles.

Okay, you got us...;-) Name these steel buildings that collapsed because of fire.....

Northern Ontario,
In reading the opening post, you have to consider the source of the videos, a chap that uses the nom de plume "NufffRespect" who seems to subscribes to the theories of David Icke.....who in turn believes that the world is being controlled by a race of reptilian humanoids called the Illuminati...and that George Bush is one of them...

Of course it is a legitimate question. And of course there are many other legitimate questions.

But you can ask legitimate questions without jumping to the conclusion that "Bush did it."

While I admit that going into this thread (and as I watched the first few episodes), I was thinking "Here we go with the National Enquirer crowd again."

HOWEVER, after watching Episode Seven, there are now some disturbing questions in my mind.

Damn disturbing.... :-?

Not all buildings have names. I could give you a couple of addresses to some that I have personally been at.......not that I think that would help.

Collapse is the single biggest concern firefighters face when dealing with steel construction.

In the bush near Sudbury
Roofs collapse. Floors collapse - and it takes tremendous load or a hell of a lot of heat to do that. Support columns and beams tend to be over designed. WTC 4, 5 and six, though badly damaged, remained standing - even after the weight of the North and South towers fell on them.

Steel frame buildings just don't as a rule collapse from fire, and they sure as hell don't collapse at free fall speed like wtc-1, 2, & 7
