Two parents against vs. thousands for. Trump wins again. What's even funnier is that the left hates the Scouts except when Trump is involved.

If what you claim were true (which it isn't seeing that most who send their parents to scouts are probably more religious than political), then all those parents would have been applauding the US president's speech, no?

Oh yes, and thanks for the reddie. So you support partisan speeches in front of explicitly apolitical organizations I take it?

In the video in the BBC link Curious Canadian posted, you can see the man in the background seemingly struggling to find the right balance between respecting Trump for his position as President of the United States and cringing at what he's hearing, not too sure how to react.

I'm sure that for all of Trump's gaffes, the Scout leaders who invited him to speak still expected him to have the wherewithal to at least know not to engage in partisan politics at a scout meeting. Did they ever overestimate him! But I don't blame them. I believe even Palin would have known better than to engage in partisan politics at a scout meeting.
The Scout leaders who invited him likely never dreamed he would talk about the, ahem, subject he spoke about but never
less they should have realized by now that Trump is a motor mouth and will ramble about anything at anytime.

I actually don't think he considered that his sex talk was out of line to the kids.....

Trump donates $100K to Education Dept. after cutting $9B. Perfect summary of why billionaire "philanthropy" is all a publicity stunt

: Donald Trump donated his salary for the second quarter of 2017 to the Department of Education – after calling for over $9 billion in cuts to the department’s budget. ... more

The $100K is almost certainly earmarked to buy "Trumpcorp" stuff for the education department.

Indeed. It was embarrassing. and has been embarrassing for a while now. Let loose with out the teleprompter he shows evidence of senility. or some kind of brain damage. He rambles, he repeats himself, and is obsessed with crowd sizes to the point of serious pathology. The thing is that it is beyond embarrassing now. Seems that it might be in order to have him evaluated psychiatric ally. The symptoms are there and for all to see. He has no emotional control and when he gets dissed......he blows off on Twitter like a narcissist moron. He is provocative and DELIBERATELY stirs up problems between staff. He has NO control over any situation and is disorganized to the point of seriously crazy.

and Now a vulgar war of words in the white hose that goes beyond anything CIVILIZED. There is NO LOW that this gang will not descend to.

How can anyone in their right mind support this gang let alone respect it.?? A FAILED REALITY SHOW is what the white house i;s .

OUT OF CONTROL. and they are too dumb to realize it. They are acting as if this is all "normal" or just "eccentric". NOT the case. When gutter language becomes acceptable from the highest office in the land.

Let's see. . . the Trumpublicans hold the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. So who is "thwarting" Trump's will?

Oh, yeah, "they" are. The dark, dreaded, unspecified "they."

The same force, I guess, that put the fly in the ointment when he tried to limit immigration from countries (7 of them) famous for blowing up stuff! :) :) :)

I presume you agree with Scarface that leaking a document that is publicly available by law is a felony. Because yes, you really are that clueless.

Probably the same thing Toyota, Nissan, and so on are doing in the US - getting around unfavourable tariffs.
Employing Americans.

So tell us, Perfesser, how many people were hanged for "leaking" in. . . let's say the 1867-1871 timeframe (the Trump term minus 150 years)?
Dunno. You tell me. Prahly would be better to go back another 6 years to catch a few more hangings.
