Do you even understand that the phrasing "not normal" has been the basis for discriminatory and brutal actions against people for millennia?
"Uncommon" or "in a small number of cases" or "in the minority" are accurate statements.
"Not normal" has often been used in conjunction with "and therefore not entitled to any rights."
The sports teams named after native groups were a sense of pride for many indigenous people...they were fierce warriors.

My wife is definitely not normal by any metric, but she doesn't belong to any alphabet group. She has no real desire to be normal either.
