Both tecumseh and I tried to show him yesterday....maybe he's a slow learner?
This may help him.....: https://www.techsupportalert.com/fr...ort/12533-how-do-i-quote-part-of-message.html

I'm trying to figure out the fastest and most effective way to highlight my threads. The font goes pale grey when I put it in quotes.

Now this thread will either fix it for him or confuse him even more......

Surely the articles I post deserve to be highlighted? LOL.

Democrats Are More Politically Active Than Republicans

Pew Research: “Across a range of political activities – from attending political rallies to donating to campaigns – voters who back Democratic candidates for Congress are reporting higher levels of political activity than GOP voters.”

“But both sets of voters share a view that the upcoming election is important: About three-quarters in both parties say it ‘really matters’ which party wins control of Congress in this fall’s election.”

Fareed Zakaria Briefing (email)

The Real Reason Trump Went After Brennan? Anyone who believes that Donald Trump’s decision to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance was about trying to silence the former CIA director is probably misreading the President’s motives, writes Eli Lake for Bloomberg. More likely, he is looking for a “deep state” foil—and Brennan is falling for the trap.

“It’s no secret that the President is now campaigning against what his supporters deride as a ‘deep state,’ a permanent national security bureaucracy that he believes undermines his presidency. The term is often used in reference to police states like Egypt or Pakistan,” Lake writes.

“[R]unning against the deep state provides Trump a rhetorical crutch. It’s a built-in excuse for failing to deliver on his 2016 campaign promises. Sitting presidents usually have to run as incumbents. Trump can try to run for re-election as an outsider. And is there a better poster boy for the alleged deep state than Brennan?”

I must have hit the nail on it's head with this Fareed post.

Officials Defend Plan To Close Almost All Polling Places In Majority Black Georgia CountyLocal officials say they need to close seven polling places because they aren't accessible to people with disabilities. The ACLU says that doesn't make sense.

By Sam Levine, HuffPost US

ADAMKAZ VIA GETTY IMAGESThe ACLU sent a letter to a southwest Georgia county election board warning that its proposed closure of seven polling places was discriminatory against black voters.

Election officials in a rural southwest Georgia county are defending a plan to suddenly close seven of the county’s nine polling places against allegations of racial discrimination, saying the ones it wants to close are not sufficiently accessible to people with disabilities.

Randolph County, the site of the proposed changes, is*more than 60 percent black,*with a little over 30 percent of residents in poverty ― more than double the national level. The Georgia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union sent a letter to the election board earlier this week*warning of a lawsuit*because the proposed closures discriminated against black voters. Those voters, the group said, were less likely to own a car and would be required to walk over three hours to one of the two remaining polling locations because there is no public transportation to get them there. The ACLU also noted the voter makeup of one of the polling places officials wanted to close was 96.7 percent black.

During a public meeting to discuss the changes Thursday evening, Mike Malone, a consultant hired by the county, said the seven polling places did not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Officials said they don’t have time to fix them, so they would close them instead,*WALB reported.

Sean Young, the ACLU of Georgia’s legal director, attended the meeting Thursday night and dismissed the suggestion that a lack of ADA compliance meant the polling places had to close. Randolph County residents who attended were also skeptical of the excuse,*according*to local*reports.

Poll: Dem opponent leads Scott Walker
by 5 points

BY*JACQUELINE THOMSEN

Democratic challenger Tony Evers holds a 5-point lead over Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) in the state’s gubernatorial race, according to a new poll.

The survey from the left-leaning firm Public Policy Polling (PPP) found that 49 percent of Wisconsin voters backed Evers, compared to the 44 percent who supported Walker.

The poll was the first to be conducted after the state’s gubernatorial primaries this week,*Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) reported*Friday.

"I think Scott Walker is in trouble,"*Jim Williams, an analyst at the polling firm, told WPR.

I wonder how angry women will be when Kavanaugh is confirmed in the fall?

Maddow: Kavanaugh Has Bad Poll Numbers Because Policy

By*Frances Langum

On last night's show, Rachel Maddow ran a video of Brett Kavanaugh from a couple years ago, in which he praised the late Justice Scalia for his pattern of deciding cases based on a belief that the Constitution cannot "create new rights," but only the legislature can do so.

So goodbye gay marriage, abortion rights, and (though Maddow didn't say so) voting and equal education rights for black people.

And Kavanaugh's poll numbers indicate that those people who would be denied their rights via this "philosophy," and particularly women, are strongly opposed to Kavanaugh's confirmation.

Eric Eggers – Democrats Plan to Cheat in 2018 Midterms

"Eric Eggers author of the new book called “Fraud: How the Left Plans to Steal the Next Election,” says, “I think there is clear evidence that they (Democrats) are actively working to create an environment that makes cheating as possible and as likely as it can be. Let’s put it this way, what Democrats have actively pursued charges of voting fraud?

In closing, Eggers says, “The good news is we do have a president like President Trump that is laser focused on the issue, and he is informing quite a few people. . . . The sanctity and security of our elections is absolutely a national security issue.”"

Yeah, we already knew this was coming after the way the DUMBOCRATS were BUSTED when they screwed up Bernie Sanders in the primary when hitlary got creamed. But cheating is what commies and nazis do.

Trouble is, if they can't even cheat without screwing it all up AND getting caught, how can people expect they will be able to run a country?

Haha...dumb o crats.

here is a lovely one:

"President Donald Trump slammed Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y., for having a "total meltdown" Wednesday after Cuomo said the U.S. "was never that great" in a dig at the commander-in-chief's 2016 campaign slogan.

"'WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, IT WAS NEVER THAT GREAT.'"
-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y

Trump tweeted Wednesday night. "Can you believe this is the Governor of the Highest Taxed State in the U.S., Andrew Cuomo, having a total meltdown!"

POLLSTERS: TRUMP AND GOP ARE LOSING YOUNG, FEMALE VOTERS PERMANENTLY

8/20/2018

Pollsters Anna Greenberg and Dan Cox said on Monday that*President Trump*and Republicans are losing young women to Democrats permanently.*

"When you ask millennial women who are likely voters, about 65, 68 percent would actually vote for a Democrat in the generic congressional race, so that puts them as base Democratic voters," Greenberg, a partner at Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner, told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball on "What America's Thinking."*

"What we know is that in your coming of age years, from sort of your teens into your early 20s, have a profound, long-term impact on what your partisanship and voting patterns are for the rest of your life," she continued.*

"So, not only in this moment are these millennial women heavily, heavily Democratic and heavily hostile to Trump, but it's likely that they are going to sort of be the vanguard of, I think, the feminization of the Democratic Party," she said.*

The good news is, if we lose this Prez, we will just replace him with another Great White Pres.

No more colored Prez for a long time, thank goodness!!

Meanwhile, the Republiklans are running a Congressional candidate in Floriduh who claims she was abducted by aliens.

The Miami Herald just endorsed her because, hey, in this administration she seems sane and normal.
