That is because people are stupid and don't realize that the economy is doing well because of policies Obama put in place, not the orange terror that is occupying the white house now.

Yes Wally, that includes you.

I don't know but it seems that when there's a tax cut by governments, the end up getting more in revenues which makes sense. Why would anyone want to tax the hell out of its citizenry thus reducing revenues? Keep increasing taxes and governments end up reducing revenues - how does that even make sense? When you give people more disposable income, they spend more, thus increasing revenues by paying more in GST (in addition to the taxes they pay on their incomes already) and business increases sales thus revenues and pay more taxes and so it goes. Guess the tax gurus don't get that. Tax the hell out of people and businesses and they go broke! Where's the tax revenue then? Sigh....

Tax cuts with the idea that they will stimulate the economy and therefore provide more tax revenue have been tried on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, they rarely seem to work. Here is one of the most recent examples.

The sad reality - roughly half of the votes will be for the republican and half for the dems.

It doesn't matter what is happening or why.

Very old news. Six months is a long time in economic terms. Kansas is booming.

And as usual you don't provide a shred of proof. And as usual you don't know anything about economics. Six months is a very short time in economic terms. It took the US economy six years to recover from the 2008 crash.

And this April 2018 update proves me right and you wrong.
