The polling shows that Clinton is popular with the college educated and Trump with the less educated and that the numbers appear to be about even. The thing is that the college educated are times more likely to be registered to vote, to be interested and politically engaged to vote and to actually get off of their assets and cast a ballot. The Trump support is likely far more ethereal. The poor and lightly educated may be angry, may feel left out, may be more suceptible to the parade of conspiracy theories around this election but they don't actually vote, much. It's possible to get that sort of vote out but it takes a lot of work and organization to do it. The Democrats have lots of experience mobilizing that sort of vote but I'll bet that the Republicans have zero experience.
