The wild swinging in Nate Silver's predictions really show that it's too early to tell and his predictions a day or two before the election are the only ones that matter.

Hillary Clinton was at 80% some time in June I think. She's now up to 77% after dropping below Trump for a week in July. During the conventions he warned we take predictions with a grain of salt as convention bumps distort the prediction and don't last. Is Clinton still riding on the DNC bump? It's only been a week.

Good terms for somebody who's never been to war and spent his entire life working within the system.

I'm not sure that being involved in a war is a feather in one's cap! Speaking for myself, I'd be scared sh*tless in a war and it would probably bring out the worst in me. I don't like noise and I don't like flying objects that are out of my control. I suppose on the plus side it might make me good at hiding!

I remember when someone on this forum (you may know him) was very excited about Nate Silver projecting a Trump win. It was a twittering euphoria for that person.

Nate Silver's Numbers For Trump Radically Shift After DNC | The Daily Caller

you mean this post?

Nate Silver: Trump would likely win if election were held today | TheHill

or my own later one?

FiveThirtyEight: If the election were held Monday, Donald Trump would likely win.

Update.

Holy crap.

this place gets so confusing eh cuck?

He probably didn't mean that post because he said that person was excited and euphoric. See, I added a reaction gif to express my reaction to the headline and if you have the social ability to recognize human emotion you will notice that reaction is neither excitement nor euphoria.

yes we know. it also reinforces the biased nature and fact he doesn't read, pay attention to or even notice half the crap he comments on.

The meaning of words is determined by usage. You may not worry about "political correctness" but you could worry about linguistic correctness. If a word is no longer used the way it once was, the meaning has changed.

For some people I suppose. For most of us I think the meaning that sticks with us is the one we first learned. I would say the current connotation of "retarded" popped up in the last 30 years.

Hillary panics after protesters shout near Las Vegas rally stage

There was a distinct look of fear on Hillary Clinton’s face as animal rights protesters held up a large banner and yelled near her rally stage in Las Vegas today while the candidate spoke.

Secret Service agents sprang into action, with one putting his arm around Clinton.

“You’re okay,” he could be heard saying on the hot mic. “Keep talking,” he said as she stood in silence.

Rust belt states are the ones to watch. They are Democratic strongholds but also the places where Trump's blue collar appeal resonates the most and where Trump can make up the loses he's suffered among centrist Republicans and independents. He has the ability to leap over the political spectrum and snatch up working class Democrats.

But you are capable of understanding how people react.

Sometimes.........................it can be helpful/entertaining to know which words can get a desired reaction. "Mentality" is another word whose connotation can be stronger than its meaning! :)

that kid is in such a rush to post that it's embarrassing to watch.

what's disappointing is that, in what should be a mature adult, is a petulant intolerant teen with deep seeded resentment against his elders, against authority and those with philosophical differences. there's been no growth since he arrived here.
