Trump’s Final Debate Was a Slow-Motion Meltdown

The closing half of the debate was a debacle for Trump, and the way his anger seemed to build as the night wore on suggested he knew it. He knew that this debate was his last good opportunity to shake up a race that shows him losing by an incredible margin, by the standards of the polarized era, against a deeply unpopular but competent representative of the status quo. Instead, in the final minutes of 2016’s cycle of presidential debating, he lost ground, lost the debate, and continued losing the election.

I congratulate Senator Clinton on her brilliant victory, and confidently predict she'll win in a landslide.

I was surprised that a well travelled man such as Trump would compare the US to India, which seemed like a colossal uninstructed comment. India is better than it was 20 years ago, and they are quickly growing their economy, but they are still classified as 3rd world for very real reasons; sanitation( over 50% of the population don't have bathrooms), clean water, electricity, sewage system, etc... is a long long stretch for comparison to the USA!

That's because the US as had there middle class for a long long time. Most of India's middle class still defecates outside and they still have the highest rate of children death on earth. The comparison is ludicrous. It would have been much more significant if he'd compared the US with a country that's economically integrated in the 21st century.

Last week Hillary agreed that Gore ‘won’ 2000 election
GORE: Take it from me, it was a very close election. Elections…

CROWD: YOU WON! YOU WON! YOU WON!

GORE: Here’s my point. I don’t want you to be in a position years from now where you welcome Hillary Clinton and say ‘Actually you did win, it just wasn’t close enough to make sure that the votes were counted’ and whatever. Elections have consequences.
As the crowd chanted and Hillary smiled and nodded approvingly, Gore continued his thought process by suggesting that he actually won the 2000 election by warning the young voters to not be in a position “years from now” welcoming Hillary Clinton and saying to her “actually you did win, it just wasn’t close enough to make sure that the votes were counted.”

Through this entire sequence, Mrs. Clinton continued to smile and nod in agreement."
