Today I watched archery & field hockey. Our chat room in Vip Box encompasses all sports and several guys watched mens diving & gymnastics. Some had a love fest watching the men dive in skimpy bikini bottom bathing suits and asked that the cameraman focus closer on their crotches. Well, to each his own ....

I spent a bit of time trying to figure out 'judo', its going to take awhile, but I still enjoyed it.

one would not be watching that sport if they were looking for crotches, very
much out of sight. lol

not sure what all the interest is in the swimmers, doesn't the water cause um 'shrinkage', just ask george (seinfeld), he knows all about shrinkage and
water combo, that was a hillarious show.

When I think of the Olympics I think of Beach Volleyball. NOT.

The mens gymnastics was wild. The last guy from the Ukraine that was on the rings was phenomenal.

Tomorrow the ladies take on Sweden. Should be a great soccer game.

Canada's women beat Great Britain in basketball today.

It's funny, they allow more contact in Women's basketball than they do in the NBA.

Tonight I tried to watch some of the highlights and my God this stuff is boring
I couldn't watch it for long. I hate reality shows but they are better than this.

On a per capita basis we are beating the US and China in medal count by a landslide. :)

four medals for canada now. I'm watching the tennis, a very long 3rd set tie breaker, whomever

loses focus first here will win, tied now at 15 in the tiebreaker, now playing the 31st game

in the tiebreaker, amazing.

why would you bother watching something you are obviously not interested in.

I'm watching the tennis too right now, talloola............weren't they saying it was the longest running match in Olympic history, or did I get that wrong. They are going to be tired puppies after this is over. Go Milos, Go! :canada:

Yesterday I was able to catch some of the gymnastics..................the strength of the competitors is absolutely amazing. Not good with remembering names, but there was a Chinese competitor who was so smooth, so stable on the rings, I simply held my breath in wonder. Also caught some of the women's weight-lifting.........those women are STRONG!

milos played great, but I have to say I was tired of it, too long for me, just came in from the garden to
see the finish.

great for the canadian women gymnasts to make it into the finals, first time I think.

Watching replays of prior events and found out that Canada's Christine Girard just won Bronze in the women's weight-lifting event - the first ever medal in that event for Canada! ROCK ON CHRISTINE! :canada:

Oh yeah... you don't want to get "pantsed" coming out of the ocean!

Elaine- "It shrinks?"

George- "Like a frightened turtle!"
