That series of moves by crosby behind the net tonight,
then the pass to the point from his knees, which resulted
in a goal, was amazing.
Well, he almost single handedly won the game tonight,
but san jose tied the game with 30 some odd seconds
left, then pavelski won it for san jose in the overtime.
Anderson is very very good, as avalanche had under 20
shots and san jose about 50
I do really like the avalanche team though, very young very
fast, and their day is coming to make a run for it, unless
anderson does it for this year, it seems a lot to ask.
Well I'll add to that, as I am watching san jose and
colorado play, they are going into overtime, and anderson
has been out of his mind good, about 50 shots to under 20
I'm sure for san jose, and he is stopping everything, and
nabokov has nothing to do.

a couple of minutes into overtime, on a freaky goal that
went through nabokov's legs, off of a san jose player.

Everything in this year's playoffs looks so tight... about the only ones I think are starting to outclass their opponent might be the Pens... but the Sens still shocked em to steal Game 1...
Phoenix is looking better all the time and probably one of the most consistent teams in the regular season. I'd like to think the Canucks can handle them, but may be wishful thinking. The winner will likely be from the Western Conference. They can handle adversity better than teams who play most of their games within 40 miles from home.
Game one in playoff hockey often goes against the trend, but enthusiasm is only good for so long.

and he was stopping everything.
Many times I thought it would be a goal for sure, but no,

playoff games, they were 'stoned' like I've never a team
stoned, then to rub salt into the wound, they scored a
freaky goal on their own net, to lose the game.
They might need a 'shrink' today.

out of their zone, but could not put any offensive pressure
on nabokov at all, they did not deserve the win at all.

At the end of games last night, the TV commentators on VS listed who they considered the 3 best players so far of the playoffs. They were:
1. Crosby of Pittsburgh
2. Backstrom of Washington
3. Richards of Philly
From what I've seen, I might consider Anderson of Colorado close to those.

Sidney has been my hero since he scored the winning goal for us in the Olympics. Watching him fight so hard for the puck and managing to get it to his teammate for a goal was just outstanding - the kid never gives up. Way to go Sid.
Don't feel too sad Talloola- all this adversity could prove positive for the Canucks- whoever their next opponent is we want them tired and a little disillusioned.
