Nah....Chiarelli is to smart for that. Injuries sre the problem this year, Chara is useless on the PP because of a dislocated pinky and Thomas has been less than stellar. Bottom feed, get your draft picks who cost almost nothing and move on.

If kovalchuk buys into lamaire's coaching, and acquires
some dicipline, and will come off the ice when he is suppose to, then new jersey has just given themselves
a great chance to knock off pitts and wash.
Right now ottawa looks unbeatable, but have to wait a while, to see

Boston has a good future? J. Jacobs could give two BLEEPS if the Bruins win or lose. He trades away all of the good players for mediocre players. All he cares about is how his concessions did during a home game. Winning has not been a part of Boston Hockey since the days of Cam Neely and Ray Bourque. He encourages a light salary roster that does ok enough to get people in the seats, but not enough to compete for a title.
Don't be an a$$hole- while the Canucks possibly have the potential to win a Stanley Cup they are not there yet. For one thing their road record is still a little weak. They have 3 or 4 superstars but that is not enough without full performance of the "lunch bucket" boys. To be quite honest they are not as good right now as San Jose, Washington or Pittsburgh.
