What a joke, you claim the Sens will win the cup and when someone wants to beat you try and dodge that by asking what team they pick?

To funny.

Tell you what, I'll take San Jose to win and I'll bet you 2500 they do against your Sens and we put the money up front to one of the mods to be held in trust.

We can do it via paypal.

Is it a bet?

Don't hold your breath- he was too chicken (his word) to take me up on $10.

Blah, blah, blah. I'll put up my $10 if you name your pick for the cup winner. Seems to me you can't get off the fence. If the Sens win you owe me $10. If your mystery team wins, I owe you $10. Put your money where your mouth is, chicken.

Let JLM put his money up if he has the guts.

You're really not too clever are you? You said Ottawa was going to win the cup and I am willing to bet you $10 they won't. Is that difficult to understand? I don't have enough information yet to go shooting my mouth off as to who is going to win the the cup. Smart people listen to someone like Talloola who knows a lot about the N.H.L. and said yesterday it is too early yet to make a prediction. There is a reason you are given two ears and one mouth.

I'd put 10$ on the Sharks via paypal. They seem like the complete package this season with the removal of Chokechoo. If anyone wants to take this bet PM me.

We should setup a simple betting ring. 10$ buy in, winner takes all, choose 1 team per person, no one picks the winner no money paid out.

LOL, you can't think on your own???????

Only an idiot (and an arrogant one at that) doesn't listen to someone who has more knowledge. Now are you going to quit being such a turkey and take me up on my $10 bet that Ottawa won't win? Time to put your money where your mouth is.

Good idea but it's too early yet. There's still 20 odd games for key players to be injured and I think it would be foolish to predict anything before the trade deadline.

Time for you to pick a cup winner. Think for yourself...

If there are those who 'just' like to bet on 'front runners', that's fine, but there are teams who are still
on the bubble, that are good teams, and some of them
could still make a run, if they get into playoffs.

Maybe a better bet to make is, 'list your playoff teams'
for each conference now, and when playoffs start then
bet on your cup winner, at least then, you have a list
of teams that are actually able to make a run for it.
Making a bet now means nothing, and whoever won that bet,
if any, would just be lucky, as there are many who could
win the cup.

Maybe I'm just too logical.
Spock was always my favourite on star trek, we have lots in common.

I'd never take you down to the track, I have a feeling you'd suck the life out of it pretty fast
