We used to have a burn barrel for debris that feel from the trees etc and one year we decided to punch a hole in the bottom and attach a leaf blower to it. We then decided that we were going to burn anything we didn't want in that barrel. It was glorious!

Yes, the shaming has to stop. It's an attempt at social control by those who want power as professional victims in my opinion. If people want to celebrate something, they can. Anyone can celebrate anything at any time. But you cannot force others to join in.

I think people can choose to celebrate whatever cause on whatever day they like. No one is forced to celebrate it with them if they don't want to or they can join in if they wish. We're living a time time when everyone has to feel special I guess.

I took the last of my pennies when they stopped making them and buried them in the yard I made a map and told my nieces when they were about 5 that when they turn 18 they can use the map to find them. Every time they see me they ask if they can see the map. Not yet!

I'm not sure I want to buy scrap but probably start collecting coins instead. I do enjoy the look of a 1 oz bar and they are fairly cheap to collect from different mints.
