Does anyone do the "Polar Dip"

As a group activity, it's kind of fun to do. In the past it was a reason to gather and be together. Any excuse in the winter etc.

    Canadian Tire

I anxiously await the CT flyer each week and scour through it. It reminds me of being a kid.

Does anyone do the "Polar Dip"

I live on the Great Lakes and it's quite common to see here.

Does anyone do the "Polar Dip"

Apparently there are people who do it and claim they do so for health reasons and feel great?

A buddy of mine when swimming in the Great Lakes today. It was hilarious to watch. Anyone else Polar Dip?

Unclear wording of CERB eligibility means some recipients asked to pay everything back

I think while the idea was good, we all knew the gov't would screw it up. I'm actually ok with the gov't screwing up on a small percentage scale because you know they can look at the small number of cases and make adjustments or exceptions and the majority of the need it was intended for. So 1...

Trudeau and the Liberals screwed something up? Shocked! Shocked I am!

    Anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers file $11M lawsuit against Trudeau

The vaccine issue itself I am going to consider to be a separate issue in this suit. My point would be more directed towards the "mask mandates and social distancing rules" of it.

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones jr - Who ya got?

There is a lot of art in the martial and sweet sciences. It's just hard to see for some people.

    Anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers file $11M lawsuit against Trudeau

This is true. People who say that it is useless are like people who say that speeding laws are useless if someone speeds anyway. The reality is that if most people follow them then effectiveness ensues.

    Anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers file $11M lawsuit against Trudeau

I'm not about to argue about this on the internet with some anonymous person who has pulled facts and then twisted them to suit their own narrative. But you go on thinking that your strewn together theories mean something and arguing them. The rest of us and those in charge will do the heavy...

'Our walls are built of booze!'

One of the neat things about this is that someone down the road is going to have an awesome find. It makes me want to do things like this so that years, decades etc from now, someone gets some excitement and attachment to the past.

    Anyone readying anything fun?

I just finished re-reading "World War Z" and liked it. Still miffed that the movie was such a mess. The book was great.

I agree. JS will never be PMO.

    Creeping Around Online..

I'm not a fan of either but it is important to have them as a minority dissenting voice in both their countries. Although in my opinion OAC is wacko. JS is young and really likeable by youth but his party isn't a youth party and he'll never reach Jack Layton status even as his base grows...

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones jr - Who ya got?

Agreed. Tyson won that fight. But i was surprised that Jones was able to impose his game on Tyson. Jones clutched and grabbed more than an NHL neutral zone trap and he danced and was on his bicycle otherwise. Sure he jumped in with shots and played the blitz when Tyson came in a few times but...

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones jr - Who ya got?

RJJ smothering Tyson when it gets inside but then on his bike and staying elusive. Tyson looking to bring it to him if/when he can catch him.
