I'm of the opinion that CBC needs to have a different funding model than it currently has. Anyone else agree or have ideas how? I do think it's important to have CANCON but I think legal broadcasting laws would take care of that. Thoughts?

I have Maples but the leaves mix with the oak and makes a mess.

If they were not oak and mostly maple, I would start a compost pile, but the oak leaves ruin the compost pile too and I am not about to separate the leaves in a pile.

Yes. Oak leaves do not break down very well and the resulting mulch doesn't help the grass grow as we are on very sandy loam. The only good thing the lawn mower does is blow stuff in a direction. Usually I'll mow the lawn after raking the leaves and that helps. I've accepted the fact that living...

My friend who does long haul does something similar. It's nice to be able to chat with him when he's out and about. I am jealous of the nice weather when he is delivering down south but I don't think I'd ever care to drive rig.
