    You might have notice my purposeful avoidance of that thread at TPA. My condolences, I just have a great deal of difficulty dealing with that kind of loss. I appreciate your frame of mind and I hope time makes the loss wain away to a found memory in short order.

    Ahhh, thanx Karrie. Right back at you. I really do want to discuss this. You have no idea how hard it was for me to filter me, as I wrote the OP. You know how I am, lol. I respect your' and Gh's faith, and it is not my intent to do you harm or to mock the Church in any way. As a small example, please note, I capitalize anything that relates to the Pope, the Church or the State.

    We're doing well. :) Daughter and SIL brought new grandson over this weekend. Out visiting my Mum & Dad right now, though. Keeping busy as usual here, too. Preparing gardens.

    because frankly you are splitting hairs about the intent. I want to give something up to reflect and explore my spirituality, but i didn't copy the cliff notes of that intent out of the appropriate catechism book, so you assume it is insufficient.

    Hey Karrie! Good luck over lent! The forum won't be the same without you but we will be happy to see you when you get back! It is really quite shocking how the internet has become such a regular part of life, so I really commend you on this one! Take care!
