She's was hoping to stay in her home but I think she's realizing how difficult that's going to be. It'll be stressful, there's no way around it. She can be picky. Plus it's hard to go from being independent to possibly sharing a room. Private rooms are just so expensive. I don't think she'll be able to afford one for too long. And of course she'll have to sell her condo, which I'll end up having to deal with of course. Sigh, I'll just have to deal.
Oh it's not over yet, the stress I mean. It's looking like Mom may need to go into LTC after all. She's still not able to get out of bed, even with help. Sigh, so that'll end up falling on me too.
Well you are very calm, it's true. I'm just glad we're not moving from one crisis to another. Not sure I can take another round of that!
I hope so too. There's been some sliding now and then, but they've both come so far from when they showed up at the beginning of the summer.
No goodies from the game. She lucked into a free ticket (her friends boyfriend had won them so he gave them to the girls to go to the game) so I think that was her 'goody' lol.

Yep kids had a great time. Kirsten got to go to an NHL game in Ottawa. Ryan made some peace with his family (they'd had some problems they worked out). So all in all, it was worth the trip.
No I won't get paid. But Friday would be lovely to be snowed in.

Yes the DVDs were good. We especially enjoyed the Haunting in Conneticut as we all really loved that movie!

I still haven't had the chance to watch the first season of that. Just always so much stuff going on on the weekends! I've been watching Angel (after watching Buffy) when I go to bed at night but honestly I'm falling asleep watching them. I've seen them before though so not a problem.
Well the 'storm' will return, lol. Sounds awful I'm sure, it's just nice to come home and not have to tell someone what to do for a change or help someone solve their problems.
I'm currently watching the puppet episode of Angel. I'd forgotten how funny it was.
Yep, it was a full house and a very busy weekend. The peace and quiet is enjoyable too though, lol. -
