  • You don't see many funny interesting commercials anymore. Of course, I watch a lot of tv on either DVD or PVR so I skip most of them anyway, lol.
I remember that one! That was good. I think they had a series of them didn't they? Self involved teens wrapped up in their snack and not noticing things.
I like ones that are funny. I recall a vacuum one where a cat was sitting on the stairs and it sneezed and all it's hair flew off! The tag line was "Shedding problem?" LOL.

Another funny one was a newlywed couple was coming home for the first time (bride still in her wedding dress, groom in his tux). Well he was carrying her from the car, closes the door with his foot and the word "Car" came up, then working his way through the front door of the house and the word "Home" came up, then as he's carrying her up the stairs he says to her "You're heavier than you look." and the word "Life" came up. It was a commercial for insurance. LOL. :D
God yes! I HATE that stupid shoe one. Talk about a stereotype! Blech!
There was a Corning Dinnerware commercial, I only saw it once and I can't find it anywhere online. They were talking/narrating about the virtues of their product, blah blah all the while you were watching a visual of a high end fashion show with models all carrying the assorted dinner plates and cups. At the end of the narration the guy says that they still maintain their dinnerware is chip proof and break proof and "as a demonstration we've added oil to the runway, let's watch" just as a model hits that spot and goes down. It was so unexpected and so funny! The plates survived but the models were all in disarray, clothes messed up, it was hilarious!
It's ridiculous, lol. I though it was a commercial spoof at first.
Some of them are funny though. And some are just plain weird. Did you check out my thread on 'social farting', lol.
That Cash for Gold guy has some pipes on him. Also the Oxy Clean guy too. Lol.
Lol. I really really was. Ever since they made commercials quieter, they don't wake me up!
Nothing caught my eye particularly (motion picture wise) but I do know that Iron Man 3 and the new Start Trek are out in May. Just a couple of maybe maybes, lol.

And yes, I was sleeping on the sofa, lol. I don't remember what time I crawled to bed.
That's cool. I sent you an email, although not the one we discussed, lol. And I did place the order on Amazon btw (Happy early early early Birthday!). I ended up getting free shipping because I also ordered something I'd been looking at getting for a while, so worked out well in the end. :)

I think to celebrate both our birthdays, at some mid-point convenient time, we should do dinner and a movie. What do you think? If we do it sometime in May the summer blockbusters should be ready for release.
Ok, I need to be heading off to bed. I'll send you that email tomorrow. You get busy reading, I expect a fabulous post rating count when I wake up tomorrow. ;)

    Have a good night. :)
I only have tuna right now. Also peanut butter. But I'll be grocery shopping on the weekend. Any requests?
You want me to make you a sandwich? That seems to be a common request I've had lately, LOL.
I know, that sucks. If it makes you feel better I was hoping you'd be by because I've had such a great couple of days around here and I wished you were here to share it with. :)
I've read it now. Last year but it's still got to reopen the wounds.
