wow Harpers wolf side shows again with his bully tactics

I think Dion has a better command of our language then the person asking the question.
Steve Murphy is one of the few in the news industry that I actually have respect for, he's been doing his job in the news long before some here have been crapping in their diapers.
"CTV Atlantic's supper-hour newscast, the CTV News is the most watched news cast in the Maritime region. Hosted by Steve Murphy, CTV Atlantic's longest-serving journalist, the newscast reaches viewers from across the region.
Steve Murphy, originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, has been in broadcasting for most of his life. Steve took his first job with a local radio station while he was still in high school. That eventually led him to Halifax and CJCH radio, and from there to CTV Atlantic, where he started as the host of Live at 5. In 1993, Steve moved on to become the anchor of the CTV News.
Steve doesn't simply read the news, he develops ideas, writes copies, presents the news and produces the show. Steve is also the anchor of the CTV News, weekdays at 12:00 broadcast on ASN. A respected broadcaster in the Maritimes, Steve has also graced the national airwaves, filling in for Lloyd Robertson on occasion at the CTV National News anchor desk.
The CTV News is broadcast live from Halifax at the CTV Atlantic studios. This one-hour show presents viewers with stories from around the region, the country and the world."

The guy knows how to ask a question and knows how to be straight forward, which is why he aired these screw ups of Dion because the Liberals told him to hide them away from the public and not air them.
If anybody else, Harper, Layton, May or anybody else screwed up on a question, it'd be a blooper, funny, ha ha, because most normal people who know what they are doing answer the question right the second time around..... Dion is incompetent, and for the party to attempt to silence the media here for their own agendas is a joke.
I actually have respect for Steve for doing what he did.
The moment someone catches him hiding a Harper or Layton screwup of equal value, I'll change my story.
Until then..... the comment about him not knowing how to ask the question is ludicous, as I fully understood the question the very first time I heard it.
And if he couldn't figure it out, then once again, that must be due to our accents here, either that or he simply doesn't know how to relate to people here.
if these are his exact words, "If you were prime minister now, what would you have done about the economy and this crisis that Mr. Harper had not done
The question should of been If you were prime minister now what would you do.
not,"If you were prime minister now(present tense), what would you have done(past tense)
*twirls finger in the air* Whoopie Doo...
If he was Prime Minister Now.... What would his solution have been today.... as if he woke up this morning and thought something up..... after lunch, before the interview..... two seconds before the question..... it doesn't matter..... if he's planning to run for Prime Minister and has a chance of winning next week..... one would hope he would have a plan at present to deal with the current situation, not whip something out of his ass after the fact.
That's a sign of no planning.
when I read this sentence I would think they meant what would I have done not what I would do now. He asked if it was back then as he often does probably cause our lack of command of our own language. Then he just wanted to make sure it was not when he would be prime minster. Which in my opinion is very wise to be clear what tense he is referring too.
Its pretty obvious to me this is a loaded question. In fact that sentence is bad English, I would say. Then Harper bullies him on it. Another stop sign for Harper and a Go sign for Dion
Sorry, but that's how most talk around here, deal with it. It wasn't a loaded question as 95% of the people in the maritimes would have understood it from the get go..... and if there is any question about grammar, then common sense would suggest you take the first tense in the question, which was present, not past......
And if it was a confusion of Present and Past.... why the hell did Dion go on about the Future, as in next week or a month or whever the hell he could think up?
Case in Point:
If the question was asked to me, my response would be to explain my current plans I have in mind that my party and I have been working on, I would have laid out the current issues, how the became to be, and how I would fix them right now "Today"
The simple explination is that Dion doesn't have a plan, because he's just going to blame it all on Harper as he currently is doing, and he doesn't have a plan because he's not Prime Minister yet.
The one answer he was trying to give he stopped short of going into the details of his plan and restarted the question so nobody would know what his plans were.
That's how I see it..... then again, maybe that's due to Dion's piss poor grasp on the English language as you so put in reference to someone else.
