According to my sources, this "war" is the direct result of the Russians trying to control the vodka trade. Vodka pipelines are aflame at the moment... my precious vodka.

You honestly believe busk's warning made putin stop??? Give me a break!Bush told Putin to stop and he did- Russia will do as it is told.
Colpy said:This should be an education to you, Risus, and all the other folks out there that foam at the mouth at the mention of the USA.
This is how real imperialist powers treat their neighbours.
Meanwhile, we stick our thumbs in the American eye with impunity.....
See the difference?
This may surprise you, but the yankees keep out of 99% of things
You no doubt remember my previous posts which fully documented how Reagan's imperialist meddling in Guatemala resulted in the deaths of over 300,000 Ixil Indians. While you are correct in condemning Russia for its invasion of Georgia, you neglected (so far as I recall) to do the same for its invasion of Chechnya and you failed to condemn Reagan's imperialism.
By contrast, I have taken a consistant position in my condemnation of Reagan, Bush, and Putin. If we are to have a world of peace we must take a consistant position in our outlook and how we judge political abuses.
