We do have a bunch of criminals of course, name a country what don't eh.
I'd rather go and kick the crap out of a koala:smile:
Gotta love Rex. True, everything he said.
Lester: WTF are you talking about?
well I thought I would exchange one bit of ridiculousness for another -Almost everybody in Australia lives on the coast because it's a no mans land in the outback- they've got spiders the size of chihuahuas- poisononous snakes everywhere, they make Canada sound like you could walk across the street and get hit by an avalanch. I don't think it's anymore dangerous here than it is there.

Canada sure isn't the safe country it used to be. Places like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver all experience a crime rate higher than any of us would prefer. That's not the mention the dangerous places in the Praries like Regina!
If you'd like to see more information about countries and travel advisories, take a look at http://www.canadiancontent.net/profiles/. The info there is directly from the Canadian government and the info for Canada was provided by US foreign affairs.
Terrorism
.....US officials have said that the US has "no credible information pointing to a specific imminent attack or the timing or execution of such an attack". But they have indicated that "the warning is clear" and that they are taking it seriously.
Crime
Crime rates are higher in the larger cities, such as New York, Los Angeles and Houston. Tourists are often targeted for petty crimes such as pickpocketing and theft, particularly on public transport.
Natural Disasters, Severe Weather and Climate
Bush and forest fires often occur in the United States......
.....The United States is subject to a wide range of natural hazards including: hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanoes, and earthquake activity around the Pacific Basin including Hawaii; tornadoes in the midwest and southeast; mud slides in California; forest fires in the west; and flooding.
Wildlife Watching
Australians are advised to maintain a safe and legal distance when observing wildlife, including marine animals and birds. You should only use reputable and professional guides or tour operators and closely follow park regulations and wardens' advice.
Hey, don't say 'we'. I've said from the get out in this thread that it's a normal travel advisory and it all applies. lol.
