Makes no sense to me, nevertheless. It still doesn't explain why any nation needs to be condemned by your allegedly loving god. Condemning every living being and then working hard to save everyone you have condemned is the same as, for instance, turning your husband away from your house, and then doing everything that you can to bring him back. Illogical, irrational, hysterical and unexplicably cruel, in the case of a god. If it is really this kind of deity who rules this world, it is a bit scary to live here. :-?
I have another question, that I asked Sanctus once, but got no reply. I am not a Jew. I haven't got a single drop of Jewish blood in me. So why on earth should I worship a Jewish god, who had never even travelled further than Jerusalem? I have read the Bible, but I haven't found any mention of the Russian people in that book. So why should I give up the Gods of my Ancestors, and turn to a god of another nation, of another peoples, of another blood? And to one, who was killed by his own race, into the bargain. 8O
I see no beauty in this, too. What you are saying is - be you good, or be you bad, there is nothing you can do to get to heaven. You will be dead and damned anyway, so why try? Why try to improve yourself, if hell is the only place your own actions will bring you to? Why take responsibility for your action upon yourself, if the end is the same, no matter what you do?
Christianity is a very corrupting religion. This kind of dogmata hinders thinking, stops inner development, and makes a person morally helpless.
I know it is hard to understand, and while many things of God are, simply because He wants us to seek answers to life's questions and Him.
A simple explanation would be like if I had a 1,000 marbles of all different designs, and they were scattered all over the floor. Of course, I wanted everybody to know that a particular set of marbles where my choice to use in play.
I especially had these marbles set in my bag of marbles, so one could say, these are safe in the bag, while others are scattered and unsafe.
Well the time came for me to leave the room. Would I chose the marbles that I chose in the bag and leave, or, would I consider all the marbles as mine and gather them all up and place them in my bag?
If I did that, then, by reason, I had to de-chose the chosen in order to accept the un-chosen, thus gathering all as one in one bag.
There was a reason why God de-chose the chosen and guttered all as all chosen into the bag, and that can be found in the scriptures in the bible. (as all are going to be saved)
Now for your question of not being a Jew. God is color blind, race blind and religious views blind.
He only sees Jesus! Jesus sees all mankind as His for He paid the price for mankind's redemption.
This information comes only through the Bible and the through the chosen people, as like the chosen marbles for all mankind to see and learn.
For prior to the introduction of who God was, mankind knew not who this spiritual something was, so they at best made this spiritual entity into a physical one in the way of an image, or something of a physical image.
God introduced Himself to Abraham, a Gentile and latter gave the Jews the responsibility of the law to the world.
Then, Jesus came as a Jew, to gather up all souls as God, and deliver every soul to eternal life status, for all souls were lost because of the existence of the flesh.
For it says, He came to save that which was lost!
God loves you as a Russian, me as a Mexican American, and all souls, for we are His creatures.
God could have easily chosen the Russians rather than the Jews, but He didn't.
Happy to say, that there is neither Jew or Russian, but both one in Jesus Christ.
