Aye, could be worse, maybe hockey fans will revolt, and turn to football hoolaginism.
I myself love sports, I've played nearly every one of them.

Hockey is a fine sport and I have nothing against players, it's the crap involved in pro sports I find offensive. BTW, I have seen many junior games far more entertaining than some pro games, so in that light, I prefer to dish out 25 bucks for a night at the game rather than 250 ( if I was interested, I could always watch a pro game for free on the tv).
ITN has a good point: there's more business in pro sports than there is sports..
Yeah, I don't like being at ice-level either, but I do like it most about halfway up and near center ice.If you sit up high you can get tickets for 60 dollars. To me this is much better value.

I don't even attempt getting Leaf's tickets as they are next to impossible to find and are prohibitively expensive. I prefer spending my money to see the Toronto Rock Lacrosse team play, $30.00 gets you a seat aboout 15 rows from the floor and the atmosphere is much more alive then a Leafs game.
I think the playoffs are designed so that won't happen. If there are Canadian teams still around after the second round, they will play each other. But still....
