I would think capitalization, or bolding or those slanty letters would be better...or maybe a different colour, or something.

I'm satisfied with my quotations, that's proper English, I'm OK with it, you all should understand
what I mean by now, I've been doing that all along. Each to his/her own. Bold seems kind of angry
and I don't get angry much at all, just like to emphasise sometimes.

It's up to you...I mean, use what you want. I just got confused, so I asked...now I know.

Catholic church is for the sheep

Protestants are for the real people.

This from a man who weeks ago was claiming to be attracted to the Church??? I'm confused??? And I thought you didn't go to any Church, so you're no more a Protestant than I am. Even protestants believe you need to belong to the denomination to claim membership;-)

We dance around all the issues that cause us to differ, but can we unite under one God in Christ?

Hey, it's alright to be Catholic, Protestant, Jew or a non-believer.

Believe what you want, but if that believe causes you to alienate yourself from your brothers and sisters, than you might want to analyze your beliefs and bring them in line with what Jesus said, love your neighbor.

If you recognize a soul as one who Jesus loves and died for, what right on earth do we have to deny that soul our love? Are we better than Jesus?

Now, if in all these discussions, one would grow towards a better person, and exercise Godly love, then all our differences would mean nothing.

Your differences to me mean nothing compared to what your soul means to me.

Jesus makes your soul equal to mine, regardless of who or what you are and who or what I am.. So, on acknowledging that, we are obligated to love one another.

If loving one another is voluntary, then we are free. But if we think we have to, then we are still under bounds and not free.

I can love regardless of what is done to me, that is freedom.

Did not Jesus as His last words say: "Father forgive them"?

So love is the ultimate choice of weapon towards all the ungodly, for there in lies the key to victory and freedom.

Loving your nighbour is seperate from accepting what he believes. But absolutely we should be as loving as we can to eachother, But many would say (including myself) that by trying to spread the word even through our discussions or arguments we are showing love, because we want all others to have what we [believe] we have. Granted arguing about the specific sizes of a praticular sect is a little rediculous and I dont' think ANY of us believe that it will have any bearing on salvation.

The original point though was to demonstrate that there is something wrong with the way the catholics are doing things with there preists, as they are having problems with perversion. Even if it were exactly equal to the general public, don't you think that is a problem, I would think those representing the religion should be acting far better than the general public.

Loving your neighbor is separate from accepting what he believes.>>> Graeme
Loving thy neighbor is accepting what they believe in this sense: we cannot dictate our conscience to anyone and expect them to believe as we do, thereby, we have to accept what they now believe and instruct, teach, guide, help, aid or anything that shows the love of God in us towards them.

And if the Holy Spirit of God touches their hearts via our love efforts, then we shall see our rewards in their joy of salvation.

Now, bad behavior is unacceptable and not condoned. They have to settle it within their own organization, just as any organization whose leaders have gone afoul.

Bad behavior is as like a cancer, if allowed to go unhindered, will bring the body to death.

All church organizations bar none have potential to corrupt themselves, individually or collectively. It is up to the good cells of those body’s to make necessary corrections by either eliminating the cause, or finding some kind of healing.

But as you know as well as I do, that the Church of Christ is incorruptible! That church is not of this world but of the heavenly. And its temple is in our hearts.

Christ being the Chief Conner Stone and we are fitly stones making up the walls of the temple.

1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Therefore, my friend in Christ, love conquers all. And for anyone to believe what they believe is what was given them to start with, but it does not mean they have to remain there.
If the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ was to reach their hearts via their ears, then they to would gladly rejoice with us in their new found salvation.

Therefore, it behooves us to be patient, enduring, long suffering, kind and loving, in the hopes of winning some to Christ.

I speak of Christ only and not of any church group. I have since grown out of that mould. Christ is universal and His head finds rest in the pillows of our hearth.

Luk 9:58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Let’s give Him a pillow so He can rest His precious head on? Our hearts!

Is it really? I don't agree. It's not alright to be outside of the church. It is understanable, it is something we know exists and must accept, but alright? I think not.
