*sigh*

My point to all this was that man had no right running his mouth about personal oppinion.....AND the Military must have agreed with me because he apologized for saying them........he didnt apologies for them being HIS opinion he apologized for SAYING them.........THAT was my point.

Agreed...even if he apologizes...does it really matter? He thinks it. It's kind of just a superficial thing. He's saying sorry...but he's not really sorry. And, fine, I don't care if he apologizes...the fact that these are his opinions bother me...but, hey, he will think what he wants to.

Homophobia is certainly of recent origin. It came in the gates with PC and feminism. It's still wet behind the ears. The man needs some room. It's a position with huge responsibility. Let him share his views without fear of offense. And let those offended speak their minds. As they have. But I still want him unfettered.

This vendetta the gay community and its supporters have against any who might oppose their standing or position has a precedent. It reminds me perfectly of the actions of the Jewish Defence League in support of Israel. The League in tandem with associated groups prowled the news and media outlets for years looking for targets. If you even used the word holocaust as a descriptor for anything other than the WWII experience of the Jewish people you were nailed to the wall. So what did the obsessive vigilance and vindictiveness get them? The country they attempted to surround with an iron wall is much less respected and in many areas reviled. And the cause they sought to protect is under siege in papers world-wide.

WHAT are you talking about??? I have no vendetta with anyone! My opinion has NOTHING to do with the mans opinions........it has EVERYTHING to do with his position and his mouth! The fact that he's a homophobe is HIS business! NOT the worlds!

Of course, it's a vendetta. The man stepped out of line. As far as you determine the line. Directed malice pure and simple.

We all should try a little harder to make his life less difficult. He's got way more responsibility than you and I and 10 000 others. I am not in the least interested in pursuing him with a muzzle and a satchel of bricks.

Do you live here? And would you find it oh so cute if your prime minister went off talking about your countries controversies when they were in war? I think not. His proffessionalism is nil and he has no right to speak his mind while he's in that uniform.

That's right, his own opinions, and many agree with him, but he shouldn't have spouted his
personal opinions, on a public setting. And, no, he's not sorry for his personal opinion,
why should he be, i'm sure your not sorry for yours. It's the platform he spoke from that
is the problem today.
