I see no conflict whatso ever..nor do a number of scientist...
Who?

The only time there is discourse is between creation being inteligent design or just happening... Personally I think "just happening" can sound just as rediculous as an invible man in the sky making it...

Personally God is not invisible, I see him every day...you just need to look...
What's it look like?

First off, the rapture/tribulation is NOT in the Scriptures. It is a pentecostal invention that first saw light approx. 100 years ago in the USA.

Secondly, exegesis of Biblical passages must always be done in context of the time, the author and the intention of the writing. The account of creation in Genesis, which by the way matches evolution, was not to provide an actual, literal explanation of the creation of life, but in fact to make the key point that the Universe as we know it was created, authoured, by God. No one is expected to take the two Creations stories presented in Genesis as literal truth.
"No man ever believes that the Bible means what it says; he is always convinced that it says what he means. " G B Shaw

"So let me get this straight, the unending, all-powerful force of creation that hand-made the universe funneled himself into the body of a human fetus and then teleported the fetus into the uterus of a married virgin. He then spent 30 years on earthSo let me get this straight, the unending, all-powerful force of creation that hand-made the universe funneled himself into the body of a human fetus and then teleported the fetus into the uterus of a married virgin. He then spent 30 years on earth walking around doing basically nothing and then one day rearranged reality to set in motion events that would lead to his own death...effectively committing suicide. He does this because his death will, for some or other reason, clear humanity's sin tally (which he, himself is keeping up in heaven). And then after his plans to get himself killed fall into place, he looks around and asks himself why he has abandoned himself? Is that the basic gist of it? " Hank Guerin

"If we are going to teach creation science as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach the stork theory as an alternative to biological reproduction. " Judith Hayes

I was raised going to church every Sunday but not much more...stopped having anything to do with it in my Teens and only stepped inside at a high holiday, wedding or Funeral.

Then I had kids, thought I'd like them to have the background, quickly I found that I was the one getting something out of it...That was 11 years ago, now I get tons out of it...and my faith grows (if not struggles) each day

Oh, shucks. 8O

I love my brothers and sisters regardless of what you believe period!

Now: addressing this thing which is gnawing at my brother westmanguy.

Verse: 1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

We learn in part, bit by bit, measure by measure, line by line.

We learn something like the story of creation, but only in part. It is sufficient for any soul to understand that God made the universe and mankind.

The sooner one questions that, the sooner one begins to seek the truth.

For a believer, the bible is the source for all the answers to ones questions.

To the un-believer, it is a stumbling block.

The creation story is an evolutionary process of knowledge starting with the 1st day and proceeding to the last day or the 7th day.

The physical side of evolution is the natural processes of the world in its self.

Once God had instituted its laws on nature, nature than follows its natural flow as time and activity dictate.

We don’t know when mankind started and never will.

But we can know that God created it all and told us in a story about how He created the first man Adam.

As we learn and mature in the word, the bit by bit of information is processed by the Holy Spirit and gives us new understandings commensurate with our age, experience and ability to comprehend what is being given us.

You will learn that Adam an Even are of a first type and why God has considered them as lost.
By the same token you will learn that there is a second type of Adam which considers them as going to be saved. Predestined: if you will.

Now for the tribulation period, the end times scenarios, all these things we must search them out in order to gain understandings of them.

You are on the way to finding out as you sort through the confusion of detail to try to make some sense of it all.

As looking first through a glass darkly, but in time and help of the Holy Spirit, that glass becomes clearer and you will see clearly.

The world can not even see darkly, for they are not even straining to see. But you are and you will see clearly in time.

1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Jesus in our hearts gives us clear vision, and we can see Him in our spirits as He addresses our ever need.

You're the last person that should be asking that, since your past posts clearly indicates you wouldn't know who Jesus was if He was sitting next to you on the bus;-)

That saddens me! :love9:That of all the praise and credit I give Jesus: you should see otherwise.

Could it be that the traditional regimental views of the Catholic Church has blinded you to from seeing Jesus in me?

I have been declaring His love and yet you cannot see it?
1Jo 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1Jo 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jo 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Co 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

He knows who I am, and your right! He is not sitting next to me, but rather seated at the core of my heart.

Will you declare Him as I have? Tell me that Jesus is also seated in your heart!

Give me your testimonial of what impact Jesus has had in your heart and life.

Give Him the praises that are due Him from your lips and your heart!

Can you do that for me please?

If you know Jesus as I know Him, should I even ask? I should be able to tell just by reading your posts.

But instead, I have received nothing but opposition from you.

As for the non-believers, I expect darts, barbs and jabs at my views, but you: more is required. For you claim to know Christ. Even if: it’s through the Catholic Church.

Here we have a court amongst the un-believers where two proclaimed believers are being tried, supposedly in agreement on God, but instead giving the unbelievers fuel to denounce God for our actions.

Say, if that is what Christianity is all about, I don’t want none of it!

What are we being careful to give a good witness of who Jesus is?

Rom 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
Let me rephrase that:”For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through us, as it is written.

Let’s agree on Jesus, first and foremost and then discuss issues as they relate to His commands.
You will find then that we will agree more than disagree.

I love my brothers and sisters regardless of what you believe period!
I don't care what you do.

Now: addressing this thing which is gnawing at my brother westmanguy.

No it isn't, it's a joke. Every time science comes up with some evidence for this, that, or the other thing, there's a great big scramble going on to change the meaning of what's written in the bible to match science. Science doesn't do anything to try and match what the bible says.

The creation story is an evolutionary process of knowledge starting with the 1st day and proceeding to the last day or the 7th day.
The physical side of evolution is the natural processes of the world in its self.

Once God had instituted its laws on nature, nature than follows its natural flow as time and activity dictate.
Guess what, nature was humming along right nicley long before man and his gods showed up. Friggin asinine statement.

We don’t know when mankind started and never will.
And yet another arrogant and highly presumptuous statement. It was once said that we'd never know how birds could fly. Well, now we do. It was once said that we'd never have a cloaking device such as in Star Trek. Well, now we do.

But we can know that God created it all and told us in a story about how He created the first man Adam.

Jesus said: Mar 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Mar 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Little kids are not brainwashed and are innocent until we brainwash them. Your children are teaching you the basics of what and who God is!

If you empty all that you ever learned and but just believe that God loves you, you will see His love and the transformation of your heart to God.

I don't care what you do. If I was going to jump off a cliff, would you care to try and stop me?

No it isn't, it's a joke. Every time science comes up with some evidence for this, that, or the other thing, there's a great big scramble going on to change the meaning of what's written in the bible to match science. Science doesn't do anything to try and match what the bible says.
That is called evolution of knowledge! I thought I had explained that?

Guess what, nature was humming along right nicley long before man and his gods showed up. Friggin asinine statement.

Perhaps you should know that mankind has been worshiping something of an unknown entity way before Abraham. God of the crops, the Sun, the Moon, the buffalo, the elephant, the eagle, the raven etc. etc..
I can accept that
and can add to the mix that God came to us in person to reveal Himself as to who He was, is and will be.
And yet another arrogant and highly presumptuous statement. It was once said that we'd never know how birds could fly. Well, now we do. It was once said that we'd never have a cloaking device such as in Star Trek. Well, now we do.
Well, you are looking at mankind for your answers, while I look at God for my answers, and they will be different as you have demonstrated in all your posts.

Prove it. I said “we can know” if you but have faith in God! Otherwise, forget it!

..... and then filtered through the horsesh|t that is religious dogma? I'll take the knowledge after the press and politicians have played with it before I'd accept info after religions have touched it. Again I point you to exhibit (A) mankind’s knowledge.

No blunder on Gods part, but definitely on mans part, for man fails to see the beauty in Gods creation of mankind.

That is called evolution of knowledge! I thought I had explained that? Like I said before, you don't explain things very well.

Like I said, long before man showed up on the planet, nature was humming along quite nicely. Get it? Humans are only about 4 million years old, the planet is about 4 and a half billion years old. Nature didn't just show up when man did.

That's right, the answers will be different: mine are based in reality and yours in fantasy.

Prove it. I said “we can know” if you but have faith in God! Otherwise, forget it! I did forget it. It doesn't matter to me even if there were gods. It sure doesn't matter to me that there isn't gods.

..... and then filtered through the horsesh|t that is religious dogma? I'll take the knowledge after the press and politicians have played with it before I'd accept info after religions have touched it. Again I point you to exhibit (A) mankind’s knowledge. Well, it suits me fine, because guess what? I am a bit of mankind. Knowledge of fantasies is whimsy.

rofl Whatta pantload of doodoo.
I have some scripture for you:

"We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes "Gene Roddenberry

Logic? And No faith? Apparently.

"Which is it, is man one of God's blunders or is God one of man's?" Friedrich Nietzsche
No blunder on Gods part, but definitely on mans part, for man fails to see the beauty in Gods creation of mankind. So we are a blunder of this god's. I see. I thought so, as this god was made in man's image. Thanks for clearing that up.

"We must conduct research and then accept the results. If they don't stand up to experimentation, Buddha's own words must be rejected. " Tenzin Gyatso

Point you to exhibit (A) Yep. This god of yours cannot stand up to the testing. Dismal failure.

"People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs" Unknown
Unknown has no beliefs, so as not to be laughed at! I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Unknown: laugh at me all you want. How do you know what the author's beliefs are? Do you know who this unknown author is? And another arrogant and presumptuous statement.

“If”?............... Is there a doubt in his mind? Surely he must think that the possibility exists? Boyoboy, you sure missed the context of that statement. Not surprising, you miss the point lots anyway.
So you just keep believing and I'll keep evolving. You are correct there and one point that I can agree with you on. Here here! Where where? Did you mean Hear, hear? Yep. I'll keep evolving into something better and you can stay stagnant in your beliefs.

Funny about that. The more gibberish you write, the more convinced I am that the only true Christian path is Catholicism. So, I guess I have you to thank for that!:)

So be it! I have not tried to convince you to make any changes have I? If God does not prompt you to make a change in your beliefs, than things stay the same as is.

I have been prompt by the Holy Spirit to learn and understand God's love. And so I declare it. If in your eyes, I am wrong, then I am condemned by you.

I don't see you as been wrong, just a lack of understanding which is different than condemnation.

God does not favor me over you, but rather you over me.
Mat 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Mat 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

I am safe in the fold. I have been found.

I don't think that is accurate, necessarily. I think the Church, being made of people, grows like the rest of the world in its understanding of what God had written in the Scriptures. As society grows in its understanding of things, so too does the church evolve in its understanding of God and His revelations.

God did not send His only begotten Son into the world to establish a multiple of religions equally meriting salvation. If this were the case, there would have been no need for Christ to die on the cross, for all religions would have been equally pleasing to God. Christ came to establish His Church which contains the WHOLE deposit of divinely revealed truth which is the ONLY means to salvation. The present post-conciliar Church has silenced the doctrine of "No Salvation Outside the Catholic Church" as a means of promoting false ecumenism which attempts to establish respect for all religions.

What now, the issue is in my spelling and my lack of good grammar? I do apologize. I have to constantly use spell check, for I am desperately lacking in the grammar department.
But hopefully, I may get some compassion and forgiveness for it?
Can I get one of these from you:love9:?
