Yes, He broke the law and by the law He should be punished. But God has forgiven Him.
Perhaps people think that, but then he turns right back around and starts talking people outta their money again in another evangelistic show.

The shame, the break-up of his marriage, the shame of prison is his payment for his sins.

But you see, spiritually speaking, Jesus shed blood covers Jim Baker sins for the purposes of eternal life.
Jesus has paid the price for all of us to be saved to eternal habitat with Him.

But still, it is our choice to either accept Him as Savior or live on our own strengths.
Yep. So which way is the right way?

If we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we have access to the Father (meaning by access is that we have all the blessings from Heaven on earth) directly and promptly.
Which are? I figure I'm pretty "blessed" by having what I have around me - good family and good friends.

Now, Sanctus, you and I should be speaking in terms of the spiritual, for we of all people we have knowledge of the words of God.
You have the Church as your guide, and I have the bible as my school master.
We both know who Jesus is, and therefore should understand what is spiritual and what is not.

Sin is sin. There is no degree to sin. If I sin by lying to my neighbor, what difference is a sin of stealing millions?
For God has concluded all under sin. Therefore, there is no difference.

Peace>>>AJ:love9:
Um, this part is a bit confusing, AJ. So if you performed some sort of minor infraction and I a profoundly despicable act, the "punishment" would be the same for both of us? All I can say is that this scenario would really suck in your case, or I'd get off with a slap on the wrist. That hardly sounds fair to me.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God, for this simple reason, Mary is the mother of the Son of God. Jesus is not only the Son of God but is also God, if we contemplate the mystery of the Holy Trinity, by which we say that God is three different persons but one true God..

Up until the time of the Protestant deformation, the Blessed Virgin Mary was honoured by Christians beginning in the first century. Even the original reformers loved and honoured her. Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, and others did, but look what has happened to Protestantism since then? The Protestants of today do not even teach what their founders taught in many ways regarding the Mother of God.
They now calumnize and degrade her by claiming:
1. She could not be perpetually virgin, for she had "
other children".
Well, let us see how
others are affected by that false charge?
2. She could not have been
Immaculately Conceived. Why couldn't she?
3. She could not have been
Assumed into Heaven body and soul. To the contrary, Scripture does not agree with this Protestant assertion, for she was seen in Heaven with both body and soul.
4. She could not be the
Mother of GOD.
5. She is a sinner like the rest of us because the Bible says "
all have sinned".

Sadly, Protestants consistently try to bring GOD down to our human level in a feeble attempt to explain away these things by mere human termsThey fail to see that GOD's laws which bind us, do NOT bind Him as well.

I have one all encompassing answer for Protestants for every one of the above false charges which they make against the Mother of GOD.
Are you saying that GOD, who created everything out of nothing, and who sustains all things by the power of His will, could not do these things?

I misquoted to the wrong individual, I realized that. But rather than go back and change it I left it as is.
Am I not forgiven as I forgive you all? which one of you without sin casts the first stone?

Love you all>>>AJ:love9:
Not a biggie, AJ. It was just a funny situation. But, I balk at thinking that being mistaken is a sin. (So don't expect me to throws rocks. I'm a terrible shot, anyway lol).

That thoundeth really goodeth. :D
AJ, my mother makes kids' champaigne out of Welch's grape juice and 7-up. It's tasty. :) I think a dinner party would be the thing. AJ, you, Dex, Levesque ... all the folks who have chipped into this extremely long conversation. We'd have a hoot I bet. Then you and I could have a dindin just between the two of us and we could gossip like crazy 'bout the others. :D (kidding)

You sound like allot of fun. Who knows, I might show up some day just for that drink. But they say that after two drinks, we might start sharing some deep secrets.
Then that's when the true flavors come out.

Peace>>>AJ:love9:

P.S. Brother Sanctus has posted a rebuttal to my Once saved always Saved, views.
I will take a little time to formulate my responds. Meantime, have another drink .
