Asked where the ceasefire stands, Trump told reporters on Monday:

"I would call it the weakest right now, after reading that piece of garbage they sent us. I didn't even finish reading it," he said.

In its response, Tehran also demanded compensation for war damage, emphasized its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, and called on the U.S. to end its naval blockade, guarantee no further attacks, lift sanctions and remove a ban on Iranian oil sales.

They may or may not have mentioned Lebanon (Hezbollah) but who knows. Apparently Trump didn’t finish reading that? Trump said Iran's response threatened the status of a ceasefire that has been in place since April 7…but the mutual attacks on each other and Iran’s neighbours, South Korea’s and Irans boats, etc…wasn’t…or didn’t…in the last week?

So it is perfectly Ok for Muslim Terrorists to murder Israeli citizens but when Israel retaliates it is an illegal war. WHich side is it again that has it in their holy book to kill everyone that isn't one of them?
Hezbollah is a legit militia just like Azov Nazis in Ukraine.

Whether Hezbollah is considered a "legit" (legitimate) militia is a complex question with widely varying answers depending on whether the perspective is domestic (Lebanon), regional (Middle East), or international. As of mid-2026, Hezbollah is largely regarded as the world's most heavily armed non-state actor.

Hezbollah's 1985 manifesto outlined its key objectives, which include expelling Western influence from the region, destroying Israel, pledging allegiance to Iran's supreme leader, and establishing an Islamic government influenced by Iran's political ideology.
Hezbollah is widely designated as a terrorist organization by over 28 countries, including the United States, EU members, and Arab nations. Azov (now the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine) is not recognized as a terrorist organization by most Western nations, although it was designated as such by Russia in 2022.
Many countries and international bodies, including the United States, UK, Israel, and others, have designated Hezbollah in its entirety—or its military wing—as a terrorist organization. It is viewed as an Iranian-backed militia that serves Tehran's interests in the region, rather than solely Lebanese interests.

While Hezbollah is a legal and recognized political player inside Lebanon, its status as an independent armed militia is contested, considered illegal by many within Lebanon, and labelled as terrorism by a large portion of the international community.

The “What about Azov Nazis?” canard has become a ubiquitous tu quoque that Russia deploys to problematise Western support for Ukraine, and distract from its own record of atrocities. Literally meaning “you also” in Latin, this logical fallacy is more informally known as “whataboutism”, and has been deployed in Russian propaganda for decades. In cruder terms, one might recall the playground retort, “I know you are, but what am I?”

What does the Likud manifesto state?

What are Tehran's interests ?

Does Israel use the same play book as Russia?

Meanwhile in West Bank Palestine the terrorism doesn't stop.

‘Without any basis’: Israel rejects sanctions against settlers as ‘political’

Following a particularly fraught weekend in the West Bank, during which at least 20 settler attacks on Palestinians were recorded, the foreign ministers of the EU approved sanctions against seven violent Israeli settlers and organizations on Monday.

The list of sanctioned groups included the right-wing NGO Regavim, which employs many people close to far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who co-founded it, including Yehuda Eliahu, who heads the Settlement Administration in the Defense Ministry. Eliahu was recently nominated as chair of the Israel Land Authority, which manages most of the land in Israel.

Kaja Kallas, the EU's top diplomat, said in a statement on X that ministers also approved new sanctions against top Hamas leaders, adding that "extremism and violence carry consequences." Israel "firmly rejects the decision," Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said in a post on X, claiming that the sanctions are based on "political views and without any basis." Smotrich called for Israel to annex "strategic areas" in the West Bank as a response.

The EU has previously imposed two rounds of sanctions on nine Israelis and five extremist organizations, including the Jewish supremacist group Lehava and Tzav 9, which blocks humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The third sanctions package "has been ready since autumn 2024 and single-handedly blocked by Hungary for a year and a half" under the Orbán government, Martin Konecny, director of the Brussels-based European Middle East Project, told Haaretz.

I wonder why the world hates Israel?

President Donald Trump is poised to meet face-to-face with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week for a much-anticipated summit in Beijing.

Trump will meet with Xi amid record-low voter popularity and as gas prices spike due to the Iran war.

Trump's trip will be the week after Iran's foreign minister visited Beijing and ahead of an expected meeting between Xi and Russia's Vladimir Putin.
China has steered clear of directly involving itself in the war, though it engaged in diplomacy last week, hosting Iran's foreign minister for the first time since the hostilities began.

Trump's political standing, however, appears increasingly linked to the conflict.

The war has triggered a historic global energy supply shock, spiking prices for oil and gas, fertilizer and other products in the U.S. and around the world. As U.S. gas prices have swelled, Trump's approval ratings have fallen among Americans for whom high prices are a top concern. Numerous polls show Americans also oppose the war itself, potentially tightening Trump's political flexibility.

It all hinges on Israel ceasing its illegal war and occupation with Lebanon and stopping Israeli terrorism and illegal occupation in Palestine. Its time you started paying attention to what is really going on and accept reality.

We've been through this with Hezbollah having the right to fight Israeli occupation and even fire rockets into Israel. Hezbollah is legal, Israeli occupation of Lebanon is illegal.

Get your fucking shit straight dolboyob.
Petros is an antisemite. Of that, he makes no bones & I have to admire his honesty anyway even if his attitude towards Jews is silly & overboard. How is it that ALL Jews are terrible but everyone else are angels?

Petros has strong convictions, and you could debate him on them. You might convince him to see things your way or he might convince you to see things his way, or neither, or both.

Zionists aren't Jews. All Jews aren't Zionists. All Jews don't support genocide. All Jews aren't settlers.
