Short version. Hamas, Turkey, Activists, & South Africa are unhappy. Britain is briefly mentioned. Nothing from anybody else except the Malaysian PM…who’s unhappy.
Oh yeah, the PA’s foreign minister, he’s unhappy. That’s about it. Guess that’s the reactions that this particular news outlet was looking for.

The flotilla, which set sail in late August, marked the latest attempt by activists to challenge Israel's naval blockade of the enclave, almost two years into Israel's siege ofGaza which was sparked by militant group Hamas' October 7 attacks.
1759492175465.jpeg
Israeli officials have repeatedly denounced the mission as a stunt. The foreign ministry had said the flotilla was previously warned that it was approaching an active combat zone and violating a "lawful naval blockade", and asked organisers to change course. It (and the Italian government/navy, and even the Vatican) had offered to transfer (the symbolic amount of) aid to Gaza.

The Israeli military intercepted the last boat in an aid flotilla attempting to reach blockaded Gaza on Friday, a day after stopping most of the vessels and detaining some 450 activists including Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg.
(YouTube & Greta Thunberg hilariously mocked after claiming she was ‘abducted’ by Israel)

An Israeli foreign ministry spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the boat's status. The ministry said on Thursday the flotilla's one remaining vessel would be prevented from breaching the blockade if it tried to.

The Israeli foreign ministry on Friday said that four Italians had been deported. "The rest are in the process of being deported. Israel is keen to end this procedure as quickly as possible," it said in a statement. All the flotilla participants were "safe and in good health", it added.
Perhaps now an inventory of the symbolic amount of aid can be taken, confirmed that it doesn’t contain contraband, and can then be sent it to Gaza through official channels.

Civilians made up 15 of every 16 people killed by Israel in Gaza since March, data suggests

Report from independent conflict tracker Acled indicates one of the highest civilian death rates since start of war

Jason Burke in Jerusalem
Fri 19 Sep 2025 17.15 BST

About 15 of every 16 Palestinians the Israeli military has killed since its renewed offensive in Gaza began in March have been civilians, data collected by the independent violence-tracking organisation Acled indicates.

The civilian death rate implied by a report from Acled, which stands for Armed Conflict Location and Event Data, is one of the highest recorded during the conflict, and will increase international pressure on Israel as its forces advance into Gaza City, forcing up to a million people to evacuate and threatening further large-scale civilian casualties.
Here’s a weird one, but it’s probably just Jewish propaganda Hasbara (?) stuff, etc…& earlier today saw the same thing (mostly word for word) on Haaretz, but now that’s paywalled:
1759521774523.jpeg
Huh…so if 66,000+ (let’s just say 67,000 according to the Hamas run Gaza health authority, etc…) killed in Gaza, and war is a brutal ugly thing, etc…& 25,000+ Hamas “fighters” killed, that’s not 15 out’a 16 killed being civilians unless less than 4200 Hamas “fighters” have been killed on or since October 7th, 2023.

If Trump is even somewhat accurate based on, who knows what (?) then it’s more like 2:1 or 3:1 and not 16:1 and those aren’t even in the same postal code as each other. Dismiss Trump outright ‘cuz he’s on the wrong team? Wouldn’t have access to any reliable intelligence information from anywhere anyway sort of thing?

We’ve all learned that he makes shit up, but is he making this shit up? Completely?

The president claimed 25,000 members of Hamas have been killed following the militant group’s Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel. He also suggested that he would "give the word" on whether to further decimate the group, though U.S. forces are not in Gaza.
The President claimed that 25,000 Hamas members have already been killed in the war, which is approaching its two-year mark on Oct. 7. (TIME has been unable to independently verify this figure.)
He wrote in his post: "As retribution for the October 7th attack on civilization, more than 25,000 Hamas "soldiers" have already been killed. Most of the rest are surrounded and MILITARILY TRAPPED, just waiting for me to give the word, "GO," for their lives to be quickly extinguished.
Etc…?

Here’s a weirder one?
Was there a token, or symbolic, or significant, or 500,000-800,000 Tonnes of aid?

Organizers of the Global Sumud Flotilla on Friday denounced Israeli claims that its aid mission to Gaza carried little or no humanitarian supplies, calling the allegations “verifiably false.” (???)

It acknowledged that while the supplies on board were limited, they were both “real because they were urgently needed, and representative because civilian ships cannot carry the full scale of aid Gaza requires, which only becomes possible once the blockade is lifted.”
Perhaps now an inventory of the symbolic amount of aid can be taken, confirmed that it doesn’t contain contraband, and can then be sent it to Gaza through official channels.
Is this one of those situations where photographic proof of the aid upon leaving the last port of call of these 50 or 40 or 60 Boats each carrying their average portion of 10 Tonnes of aid each are needed?

Wouldn’t it be ironic if this photographic proof did exist, electronically, and coincidentally all the flotilla folks pitched all their electronic devices with all the proof into the Mediterranean?

Like on that date just shy of two years ago?

Israel and Hamas have been at war since Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas-led terrorists attacked southern Israel, killing some 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.
That kind of shit stain doesn't wash out.
Again, I agree with you. More than 130 activists who were detained by Israel while taking part in an aid flotilla bound for Gaza have been deported to Turkey, the Israeli foreign ministry said Saturday.
1759595049367.jpeg
The agency said online that the 137 activists were from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and Italy. Four Italian activists were deported on Friday. The foreign ministry said that Israel "seeks to expedite the deportation" of those detained from the flotilla.
In a post on X on Saturday, the Israeli foreign ministry said 137 "provocateurs" had been deported to Turkey.

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a video featuring Israeli police spokesman Dean Elsdunne walking in what he said was one of the largest vessels in the flotilla and showing that it was empty.

"When we and multiple other countries offered them to take this aid and bring it to the Gazans — we could facilitate its safe arrival — they flat out rejected it, and now we know why: because it was never about bringing aid to Gazans, but it was all about the headlines and the social media followings," Elsdunne said in the video as he walked through the empty flotilla vessel.

The GSF maintains that its ships were carrying aid, including baby formula, food and medicine. In response to a Fox News Digital request for comment, GSF said it would be posting photos and videos of the aid to Instagram and Telegram.
Several international activists deported from Israel after joining a Gaza aid flotilla have accused Israeli forces of mistreating climate campaigner Greta Thunberg.

The 137 deportees landed in Istanbul on Saturday, including 36 Turkish nationals alongside activists from the United States, Italy, Malaysia, Kuwait, Switzerland, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan and other countries, Turkish officials confirmed.

Turkish journalist and Gaza Sumud Flotilla participant Ersin Celik told local media outlets he witnessed Israeli forces “torture Greta Thunberg,” describing how she was “dragged on the ground” and “forced to kiss the Israeli flag.”

“It was a disaster. They treated us like animals,” Helmi said, adding that detainees were denied food, clean water, and medication.
Israel's foreign ministry stated that "These individuals, who arrived under the guise of 'humanitarian aid,' made it clear - through their actions, their rejection of all proposals by Israel, Italy, and Greece to peacefully transfer the aid, and the small quantity of aid they actually carried on their boats - that their true goal was provocation in the service of Hamas, not humanitarian assistance."

Small quantity of aid is still more than no quantity of aid…
So…really how much ‘aid’ was there?
Perhaps, once intercepted, wherever & whenever, an inventory can be done to see how much of the symbolic and representational aid actually exists. I’m curious.
Italy's Foreign Ministry has called on Israel to speed up the deportation process for Italian activists detained in Israel after they were intercepted as part of boats sailing in a flotilla carrying aid to Gaza.

At least four Italian parliamentarians travelling as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) have already been deported. More than 470 people — of various nationalities — were detained in total, Israeli police said.

On Saturday morning, the Italian Foreign Ministry said members of its embassy in Israel had visited the activists who are "well, even if they are tired by a month spent at sea and by the two days of profound stress coinciding with the military operation against the boats."

Well, as a new flotilla sails for Gaza, the tactics of a previous voyage – from pre-recorded videos to rejected aid routes – provide a clear indication of the media confrontation to come.
1759667289798.jpeg
The true objective of the flotilla currently steaming towards the Mediterranean coast appears to be less about breaking Israel's naval blockade of Gaza and more about generating a viral firestorm of outrage.
1759667490860.jpegIts ‘mission’ seems set to create imagery and messaging that will be shared hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of times, all reinforcing a single, damaging narrative.
1759667562690.jpeg
The current voyage has already been marked by high-level diplomatic intervention. On Tuesday, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni publicly called on the flotilla to stop, stating that a confrontation could provide a 'pretext' to disrupt a 'fragile balance,' as Hamas reviews Trump's 20-point Gaza peace plan.
1759667899705.jpegFollowing her statement, the flotilla reported that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered participants an 'opportunity' to abandon the vessel. The organizers rejected the offer, labeling it 'sabotage' in a public post. This rejection of a diplomatic off-ramp is not without precedent. The voyage of the Madleen in June offers a blueprint to understand the playbook for this campaign.
1759668308972.jpeg
The conclusion of that prior voyage illustrated a key tactic: the narrative was locked in before the first Israeli vessel ever made contact. Hours before its interception, pre-recorded videos of activist Greta Thunberg and others declaring they were being 'kidnapped' were ready to go. This gave the activists the ability to seize control of the story, ready to flood the digital space before facts on the water could interfere.

…& that’s EXACTLY how this last one played out regardless of what was to actually happen. It was a script written in advance.

As the interception began, a coordinated social media blast released the videos, amplified by a torrent of posts and shares. The messaging was uniform, asserting that Israel was 'kidnapping' activists who came to 'challenge the blockade,' as members of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition described.
1759668086735.jpeg
Next, claims of Israeli aggression escalated. Activists broadcast that they were attacked with a 'chemical substance' after Israeli forces deployed a standard, non-lethal crowd-control irritant via drones.
1759668182771.jpeg
Medical exams in Ashdod later confirmed all passengers were unharmed, but the activists' initial claim achieved wide circulation online, arguably eclipsing Israel's official response.

At the same time, reports emerged that the activists had thrown their phones overboard – a move that prevented Israeli authorities from accessing the devices' data and created an information vacuum the activists could fill.🤔

The mission’s humanitarian element was described as 'symbolic,' as the BBC noted in its reporting. The vessel’s cargo was, in the words of government spokesman David Mencer, 'less than a single truckload.' In the two weeks prior, 1,200 actual aid trucks had entered Gaza by land.

When Israeli authorities offered the flotilla the option to dock at Ashdod and have their aid transferred overland –the only viable path for its actual delivery – they refused.
1759668475942.jpeg
The confrontation, it seems, was the objective.

By rejecting a practical solution, the activists manufactured the scenario required for their media campaign: Israeli forces preventing the delivery of 'aid' to Gaza. These actions ultimately lent credence to the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s assessment of the voyage as 'Instagram activism.'
1759669322571.jpeg
It’s hard to tell, but what does that banner above the boats name say? Something about the peace plan? Give peace a chance?
1759669569638.jpeg
(I don’t know much about Ocean going vessels because I’m in the middle of the continent on the Canadian prairies, but I’m assuming we can tell that that’s a cargo carrier because of all the big square windows? Carry the least amount of people with the smallest crew so you can fit the most cargo on board, right?)

1200 were killed kids on Oct7? How many kids were killed in West Bank or Gaza prior to October 7 which lead to the attack?

All the settler terrorism shit going back to 2014 that created the Oct 7 attack is currently under ICC investigation isn't going to go away.

Maybe its time to disarm the settlers that created this fucking mess.

God would never "choose" assholes.

The current war that they’re trying to end is between Hamas (& its appendages) and Israel. Get through this one and maybe that’s next week, or next month or next year, etc..

French President Emmanuel Macron recognized a Palestinian state at the United Nations on Monday, spurring a wave of Western moves to defy Israel in making the landmark -- if symbolic -- move.
The history of the Middle East since 1947 is littered with plans and proposals for a two-state solution that were discarded by Palestinian authorities, so Canada, along with France, Australia and the U.K., will reward that stubborn intransigence by abandoning the prospect of negotiations altogether and just giving the Palestinians exactly what they want.

The prime minister’s statement says that recognizing the state of Palestine “in no way legitimizes terrorism, nor is it any reward for it.”
The Carney government itself is playing word games, saying that while it is recognizing the state of Palestine, it won’t fully recognize it until Hamas releases the hostages, disarms and is prohibited from participating in Palestinian elections next year, all of which are fantasies at this point, and should have been prerequisites before this day.
Sir Keir claimed his decision would "revive the hope of peace and a two-state solution" ahead of a UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Monday, where Western countries are expected to pressure Israel for a Gaza ceasefire.
Is there a surrender joke in this somewhere?

Anyway, Israel said on Monday that an additional 171 activists from the Gaza aid flotilla, including climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, were deported on Monday to Greece and Slovakia.

It’s the things that have happened on and after October 7, that need to be addressed now, before the others can be addressed, I guess. That’s what’s being dealt with now, and with some reforms all around, maybe the rest of that shit could be dealt with to.

I guess so. Like you I’m just following this and not participating. That doesn’t seem to be on the dance card at this point, but stopping the current goat rodeo first is.
Its an all in one rodeo. Goats, chickens cats and marmots. All rodeos need to end.

You can't ignore this elephant in the phone booth.

Settler violence in the Israeli-occupied West Bank—often described by critics as "settler terrorism"—refers to attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, including assaults, property destruction, arson, and land seizures. These incidents have escalated significantly since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks on Israel, with the United Nations' Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) documenting over 1,100 Palestinians displaced by such violence since 2022. In 2024 alone, OCHA reported more than 1,000 settler attacks, a record high, with the trend continuing into 2025. Human rights groups like B'Tselem argue that this violence is enabled by Israeli authorities, who rarely prosecute perpetrators, creating a system of impunity that amounts to state-sanctioned aggression. The U.S. State Department's 2021 Country Reports on Terrorism noted Israeli security forces' actions against suspected terrorists but highlighted ongoing challenges in curbing settler extremism.
