OMFG!!!

They've even butchered the holubtsi.

Well that explains the pogroms.

Mix together the chopped meat, caramelized onions, ketchup, soy sauce/dissolved coffee, and breadcrumbs or matzo meal. Mix lightly to a smooth combo. Take a 9 x 13 rectangular pan and spray with oil. Set aside.
You don’t even wanna know what I’ve done to cabbage rolls. Mine are like the mutant big brother of holubtsi, & bacon flavoured.

Bacon is normal or they are dry. Coffee, soy sauce and ketchup makes my blood boil.
I use bacon flavoured pork pizza crumbles from the wholesale club, & blend that in with whatever I’m using (pork or beef) into my cabbage rolls and stuffed peppers. I 50/50 this stuff in with whatever meat I’m using.

(They come in a small pillowcase sized 5lb bag for pizza toppings)

Two of my cabbage rolls fit on a plate, if you’re careful, & that’s rim to rim.

I mix it up, sometimes tomato juice, sometimes V-8, maybe Clamato…& in with the meat I will chuck in a can or two or three of some kind of cream soup depending on what kind of mood I’m in. Anything from mushroom to celery to tomato or whatever, & rice, and seasonings (which also vary depending upon my mood).

I also don’t go with that sour cabbage either. Good old cattle cabbage, that I freeze for a couple days beforehand, and then thaw out the night before, and I just cut the big veins out and overlap those big cabbage leaves over the missing vein….Cause that’s the size of cabbage rolls I want.

{I have never ever had dry cabbage rolls that I’ve made, though I have had dry cabbage rolls that others have made}

I’d never heard of “ajvar” before but damn that sounds good!!!

Thursday, August 12, 1982[

Met with the news the Israelis delivered the most devastating bomb & artillery attack on W. Beirut lasting 14 hours. Habib cabled—desperate—has basic agreement from all parties but cant arrange details of P.L.O. withdrawal because of the barrage. King Fahd called begging me to do something. I told him I was calling P.M. Begin immediately. And I did—I was angry. I told him it had to stop or our entire future relationship was endangered. I used the word holocaust deliberately & said the symbol of his war was becoming a picture of a 7 month old baby with it’s arms blown off. He told me he had ordered the bombing stopped—I asked about the artillery fire. He claimed the P.L.O. had started that & Israeli forces had taken casualties. End of call. Twenty mins. later he called to tell me he’d ordered an end to the barrage and plead for our continued friendship. Spent rest of day meeting with Congressmen on Tax bill.

Are they negotiators (?) or Hamas echelon leaders? Or both?

Qatar, which condemned the attack, hosts America’s most important air base in the region as well as much of Hamas’s “political” leadership. Israel informed the U.S. that the attack was coming, and the U.S. in turn notified Qatar, people familiar with the matter said. Did Qatar inform Hamas’s political leadership?

Israel has wiped out the “military” leadership of Hamas, Lebanese militia Hezbollah and Iran’s nuclear program; destroyed much of Syria’s military equipment; killed militant leaders and other enemies in Gaza, Tehran, Damascus and Beirut; and simultaneously exploded pagers and walkie-talkies carried by thousands of Hezbollah rank and file.

Officials in Israel and the U.S. have long been frustrated that leaders of Hamas, which the U.S. has designated as a terrorist group, are able to live openly and comfortably in Doha while their militant colleagues carry out bombings and other attacks in Israel.

The arrangement has persisted in part because of the need to maintain contact with the group as mediators try to craft an end to the war in Gaza, which was sparked by Hamas’s deadly attacks on Israel nearly two years ago. More than 64,000 people have been killed in Gaza, according to Palestinian health authorities, who don’t say how many were combatants.😉

Group calls for ban on display, distribution of terror symbols, literature
Current laws don't specifically criminalize displaying or distributing materials promoting outlaws terror groups

OTTAWA — With anti-Israel activism within Canada showing no sign of diminishing, one group is urging the government to close loopholes in Canada’s terror laws.

In a new initiative, Canadian Women Against Antisemitism (CWAA) want sections of the Criminal Code of Canada dealing with terrorism amended to criminalize the distribution, public display and circulation of symbols and propaganda connected with listed terrorist groups.

“I can run up and down the streets of Toronto waving a Hamas flag. I can hand out a Hamas ‘how-to’ playbook on how to hold a rally, how to blow up the synagogue, how to de-legitimize the Jewish community — I can hand out all of that stuff, and there’s nothing illegal about it,” said CWAA’s Talia Leighton.

“We’ve all seen examples of this, especially at the U of T encampment.”

While the Criminal Code does contain the ill-defined offences of “willful promotion of hatred” and “willful promotion of antisemitism,” there’s nothing specifically outlawing the display or distribution of terrorist propaganda or symbols.

Indeed, while flags belonging to groups including Hamas, Hezbollah, Samidoun and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine are common sights at anti-Israel rallies and encampments across Canada, there’s little police and the Crown can do to address it.

The CWAA is proposing draft legislation that would fill this gap, and bring Canada into line with nations such as the U.K., Germany and France, who already have such laws on the books.

Earlier this year, a member of the Irish rap group Kneecap was charged by Metropolitan Police for waving a Hezbollah flag at a 2024 concert in London.

I'm 100% for it if Zionism is banned. Its a proven terrorist idealism.

Good thing there hasn't even been a suggestion Hamas is a terrorist organisation.
(The US deemed Hamas a terrorist organization in 1997, and Canada deemed Hamas a terrorist organization in 2002)

Are you 100% for it now (?) or only if “Zionism” is banned?

Only if.

I want all my freedom of expression taken away.

Don't you?
So the currently deemed terrorist organizations aren’t “terrorists organizations” enough unless Zionists (or was it Zionism?) are/is included? That’s interesting, if that’s what you’re saying.

They might be, eventually, but they aren’t, currently.

This is sort of reminding me of a statement I read it while back (could’ve been from a Hamas guy, or a PLO dude…) justifying the death Palestinians as long as Jews died too, etc…or something along those lines…
