Anywho, back to the symbolic boat outing:
Aid? Or performative “symbolic” aid by a pack of entitled what-have-you’s that, without media attention, couldn’t be bothered? Which question are you asking me (?) or am I hearing your question through my own mental filter here?
They’re going! They’re doing something, again.

They’ve got a bag of flour, several cans of tuna, some Burger King coupons, adult diapers, an artificial leg (the left one), an eye patch, righteous indignation, and they will make damn sure nobody sees them throw their laptop, tablets, and cell phone’s overboard this time.

Greta Thunberg is increasingly using the medium of music - including punk, rock and garage - to help deliver her pro-Palestine messages to wider audiences. As Thunberg led a flotilla bound for Gaza on Monday, she was supported by British rap punk duo Bob Vylan.

A flotilla of boats headed for Gaza carrying 350 pro-Palestine activists - including climate change campaigner Greta Thunberg - has departed from Barcelona. That’s a lot of mouths to feed.

Around 20 vessels displaying Palestinian flags left the Spanish port at 19:00 local time on Monday, stocked with medical and food supplies.

The aim of the mission is to "break Israel's illegal siege on Gaza", the organisers said - though a previous attempt to reach Gaza by sea was intercepted by Israeli forces.

In June, a yacht carrying Thunberg and several other activists - and a symbolic amount of humanitarian aid - was intercepted by Israeli forces as it tried to reach Gaza. Israeli authorities escorted the activists to the port of Ashdod before deporting them from the country.

The Global Sumud Flotilla Mission plans to launch in two waves - the first from Barcelona and the second from Tunis on 4 September.

Activists hope the boats will converge in the Mediterranean before sailing towards Gaza, a trip that is estimated to take seven or eight days.

Captain Greta Ahab
Yeah, she’s got herself a navy this time. The IDF better bring a LOT of sandwiches and water bottles for their interception & deportation.

-this is from way back in June 2025 after she ditched her electrics into the Mediterranean.

I’m assuming you’re asking somebody else to do your homework, to ask Google AI how many calories would 350 selfie activists on a boat outing need for approximately eight days?

I happen to have the time this morning at this point:
1757173555558.jpeg
Then, I’m assuming, you were going to want someone else to do the same thing but extrapolating similar data for 2 million-ish people in Gaza held hostage to Hamas’s demands preventing the Hamas/Israel war from ending? Am I on or off target here?

On a slightly different tangent, how many calories will the same 350 attention whores need while in custody in Israel between being intercepted in the Mediterranean and being deported (several for the second time) from Israel?

Not enough data to preform that calculation yet…

So basically one Mediterranean yellowfin tuna and they're good to go.

Too bad Israel shoots fishermen, they could help immensely.

Wait. What? I’ve got to make brunch pretty quick so I don’t have much time but…

I can invest about three minutes. A Mediterranean yellowfin tuna can potentially reach 400lbs, but on average most of them are 100lbs to 200lbs, & in an average 3-ounce (85g) serving of cooked Mediterranean yellowfin tuna contains approximately 110 calories.

Assuming the biggest potential size Mediterranean yellowfin tuna at 400lbs, & assuming every pound is consumed from bones to fins to arseholes and earlobes, then 400lbs is (in a 3oz serving) 2134 servings.

2134 (rounded up) x 110 calories = 234,740 calories potentially in the biggest Mediterranean yellowfin tuna at 400lbs. You see where I’m going here? Is this one of those water into wine parables? Bread into fish, or 1 fish into 64 fishes?

That monster sized Mediterranean yellowfin tuna, assuming every last ounce of that 400lb (instead of the actual average size being between 100-200lbs) is consumed, might feed Greta’s entourage for approximately one meal, maybe, and for an eight day trip if they were just eating Mediterranean yellowfin tuna, and each one of them was the absolute maximum size they could possibly be at 400 pounds, they’d need 24 of those, but more realistically with the average size at 150lbs, they would need many more than that (64-ish?).

If Hamas (& friends) hadn’t been smuggling weaponry into Gaza from the Mediterranean for the last couple decades in addition to over and under the border from Egypt, this whole mathematical exercise would probably be a non-issue.

Not sure I understand. Are you saying that Greta and her entourage should also be eating yellowfin tuna on top of what they’re already eating, before they get intercepted?
Now its the Med and not Egypt?
Actually, I’m not sure what you’re saying here either.

I'm saying Israel closed the coast long before Oct7 unless youre claiming Israel Navy Coast Guard and Air Force are complete morons and useless.

Underwater tunnels perhaps?

The easiest way to get weapons in is through Israel from an Israeli.

This again? Or tunnels from Syria or Lebanon or Swift Current…

Yep. Tunnels under that border too, but I’m assuming more cooperation from the Egyptian side…but…ass/u/me. I know.

Israel backs off talk of annexing West Bank after UAE warning

The Emiratis, who signed a peace deal with Israel in 2020, have warned publicly and privately that annexing the Palestinian territory would cross a red line.
