The freed British-Israeli hostage Emily Damari spoke to Keir Starmer on Friday and told the prime minister Hamas held her in facilities belonging to the UN refugee agency Unrwa, her mother, Mandy, has said.
Damari, 28, who was released 12 days ago, after more than 15 months in captivity in Gaza, with two fingers missing, also told Starmer that Hamas had denied her access to medical treatment after shooting her twice.
Unrwa said claims that hostages had been held in its premises were “very serious”.

Its spokesperson Juliette Touma told the BBC the UN agency, which was set up to support the relief and human development of Palestinian refugees, and has brought in about 60% of the food aid that has reached Gaza since the war began, did not have access to several of its facilities for many months.
She added: “We’ve been calling for the release of hostages for months on end … These claims that hostages have been held in Unrwa premises, even if they were vacated, are absolutely serious.

The UN is extremely corrupt. My husband was in the Cdn Military & went to Egypt & Cyprus x 2 under UN aspics.
The other countries who were there for peace keeping were paid by the UN - EXTREMELY WELL. Guess what? Canadians were not paid UN wages, instead they had to be happy with their regular pay with a "little more" because of an overseas tour. That's how little respect that our country's politicians think of our military. Needless to say, it was Liberal governments who show very little respect for what our military members go through & sacrifice with their families. They were peacekeepers who weren't allowed to even defend themselves & there were lost lives.

Dallaire ended up having a mental breakdown due to what he saw in Rwanda & no one gave a shit & there was nothing he could do due to the policy implemented by our government. Can you imagine watching 800,000 people being killed (slaughtered) and not being able to respond? I can't imagine it at all & I'd likely be in a loony bin today.
So, my point is that UNRAW is also corrupt, is aiding terrorism & needs to be quashed immediately. Canada needs to get out of all the alphabet organizations: UN, WEF, W.H.O et al. Not one of those organizations have any respect for human lives & simply want to destroy everything we've worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately, because we've been so successful, we've become apathetic & we stand to lose everything we've gained.
