Anyway, this thread is about Hamas & Israel.
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the 7 October 2023 attack, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.

At least 57,338 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.

1751818773858.jpegLate on Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that "the changes that Hamas is seeking to make" to the ceasefire proposal were "unacceptable to Israel".
1751818827196.jpeg
But it added: "In light of an assessment of the situation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed that the invitation to proximity talks be accepted and that the contacts for the return of our hostages - on the basis of the Qatari proposal that Israel has agreed to - be continued. The negotiating team will leave tomorrow."

A senior Palestinian official familiar with the talks told the BBC on Friday that Hamas was demanding aid be distributed exclusively by the UN and its partners, and that the GHF's operations end immediately.
(YouTube & Inside the IDF “Aid Massacre” That Never Happened)
1751818916151.jpeg
Another amendment demanded by Hamas was about Israeli troop withdrawals, according to the official.

The US proposal is believed to include phased Israeli pull-outs from parts of Gaza. But the official said Hamas wanted troops to return to the positions they held before the last ceasefire collapsed in March, when Israel resumed its offensive.
1751819534577.jpeg
The official said Hamas also wanted a US guarantee that Israeli air and ground operations would not resume even if the ceasefire ended without a permanent truce.

The proposal is believed to say mediators will guarantee that serious negotiations will take place from day one, and that they can extend the ceasefire if necessary.

The Israeli prime minister has ruled out ending the war until all of the hostages are released and Hamas's military and governing capabilities are destroyed.

Late on Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that "the changes that Hamas is seeking to make" to the ceasefire proposal were "unacceptable to Israel".
???Maybe this part? Maybe something else???
The Israeli prime minister has ruled out ending the war until all of the hostages are released and Hamas's military and governing capabilities are destroyed.
I think that’s been pretty consistent for about 630+days or so. Maybe it’s something else though.
A senior Palestinian official familiar with the talks told the BBC on Friday that Hamas was demanding aid be distributed exclusively by the UN and its partners, and that the GHF's operations end immediately.

…but…maybe it’s something else? What do you think it is? Something unsaid? Something specifically not mentioned?

Dead is dead. Hypocrisy went out the window over a year ago. You're a rare breed these days. Even the nut job born yesterday Christians are calling foul. Even the Kenneth Copeland types.

1751834605260.jpeg
Hmmm….that is weird, isn’t it.
Genocide will do that.
The numbers — and the reality — simply don’t support the “genocide” blood libel; in April, no less than Zaher al-Wahidi, the head of statistics at the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry, told Sky News that thousands of individual deaths in the Israel-Hamas war had been reclassified. “We realized a lot of people died a natural death,”…😳
(YouTube & Military Expert Debunks Gaza "Genocide" - Nick Freitas)
The Rabbinic Judaism that exists today was codified after Christianity came into being and it came out of Persia and Babylon. That is the home of the Jews we know today. They want that too.
Maybe with a side of, “Just stop attacking us and recognize our right to exist” perhaps? I know this might sound crazy but…maybe that’s something that hasn’t been tried yet.

(Those who view the Jewish exodus as analogous to the 1948 Palestinian expulsion and flight generally emphasize the push factors and consider those who left to have been refugees, while those who oppose that view generally emphasize the pull factors and consider the Jews to have been willing immigrants)

1751856167962.jpegThe United States on Saturday blamed Hamas for an attack that injured two American aid workers from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation at a food distribution site in Gaza.
The U.S.- and Israeli-backed GHF said in a statement that the injured Americans were receiving medical treatment and were in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

1751855560302.jpeg
"The attack – which preliminary information indicates was carried out by two assailants who threw two grenades at the Americans – occurred at the conclusion of an otherwise successful distribution in which thousands of Gazans safely received food," the GHF said.
“GHF has repeatedly warned of credible threats from Hamas, including explicit plans to target American personnel, Palestinian aid workers, and the civilians who rely on our sites for food. Today’s attack tragically affirms those warnings,” the organization said in a statement.
U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce blamed "Hamas terrorists" for the attack.

Stop attacking THEM? Are they being picked on? A right to exist?

No genocide or ethnic cleansing....

Speaking at a settlement policy conference in the illegal Ofra settlement in the occupied West Bank, Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich brazenly declared:

“Within a few months… Gaza will be totally destroyed. The Gazan citizens will be concentrated in the south. They will be totally despairing, understanding that there is no hope and nothing to look for in Gaza, and will be looking for relocation to begin a new life in other places.”

In another comment to Yedioth Ahronoth, he added: “Hamas won’t exist as a functioning entity. The population of Gaza will be concentrated from the Morag Corridor southwards. The rest of the Strip will be empty.”

GAZA: Defense Minister Israel Katz said that he has instructed the IDF to prepare a plan to establish a "humanitarian city" on the ruins of Rafah which would eventually house the entire population of the Gaza Strip.
According to Katz, the plan entails moving 600,000 Palestinians – primarily from the al-Muwasi area – into the new zone after a security screening. Once inside, residents would not be allowed to leave. Katz added that, if conditions permit, construction of the city would begin during the 60-day cease-fire currently under negotiation.

The Hamas-run Health Ministry reported that at least 105 Palestinians were killed and about 356 wounded in the past 24 hours. According to the ministry, 57,523 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the war.

The International Committee of the Red Cross said that since the launch of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's aid system, their field hospital in Rafah has treated over 2,200 "weapon-wounded patients" – mostly young men and boys, but also toddlers, the elderly and women – across over 21 mass casualty events. The sharp increase in mass casualty events has led the hospital, the sole fully functional hospital in southern Gaza, to operate past its maximum capacity, according to the Red Cross.

The GHF proposed building camps called "Humanitarian Transit Areas" inside - and possibly outside - Gaza to house the Palestinian population, a proposal reviewed by Reuters showed. The $2 billion plan, which outlines the GHF's vision of "replacing Hamas' control over the population in Gaza," was submitted to the Trump administration and recently discussed in the White House, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.

A senior Hamas security officer told the BBC the group has lost about 80 percent of its control over Gaza, with armed clans filling the void left by its absence after months of Israeli military operations.

In response to a petition filed to the High Court of Justice by three Israeli reservists, asking whether the objectives of the IDF's operation in Gaza violated international law by requiring the forced displacement and expulsion of Palestinians, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir's office said the IDF does not impose forced population expulsions inside or outside the Strip.

Stop attacking THEM?
Has Egypt ever attacked Israel?
Has Jordan ever attacked Israel?
Has Syria ever attacked Israel?
Has Lebanon ever attacked Israel?
Has Saudi Arabia ever attacked Israel?
Has Yemen ever attacked Israel?
Has Iraq ever attacked Israel?
Has Iran ever attacked Israel?
Have other nations participated in attacks on Israel since its inception as a nation in 1948 (?) and keep in mind that country is less than a century old?
Are they being picked on?
You tell me? Does the above sound normal to you? Common place?
A right to exist?
Look at the pattern here, or don’t. Your choice. Here’s the countries that don’t recognize Israel & it’s right to exist. Not the map, but the list of countries below it.
1751934125617.jpeg
Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Cuba, North Korea, and Venezuela.

Is this because of the Roman’s? Is there a pattern to the majority of those above countries? Nothing obvious? A couple are (or were) communist (or at least socialist) but not the majority…a handful are in the Middle East, but not all of them…
A right to exist?
Coincidentally, how many of these above countries either directly, or through proxies, or have supported those who’ve gone to war against Israel, coincidentally overlap? More than one or two?
No genocide or ethnic cleansing....

The whole situation is horrible, so what’s the solution? “From the river to the sea, here’s your life/vest, cross your arms before you hit the water!”? Israel has fought at least half a dozen wars with neighboring Arab countries, many times several of them simultaneously. They include the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, the 1956 Suez Crisis, the 1967 Six-Day War, the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the 1982 Lebanon War, and the 2006 Lebanon War….& that’s not even touching upon the last two decades.

So far, Israel hasn’t lost a war (though 1973 war pretty touch & go, and the closest it’s come to losing a war) in its 77-ish years of existence as a nation, and it still remains as a nation…which means that ALL the other nations that have attacked Israel lost…& they’re all still nations today.

What would have happened to Israel if it had actually lost a single war even once? Would it exist today?

How was Israel formed? Peace and love?
How WAS Israel formed? Was it formed on peace & love?

How was Canada Formed? Australia? United States of America? Mexico? And so on and so forth another 190 or so times? Where any of those formed through peace and love?

Can you name a country that was formed out of peace and love? It sure as Hell isn’t Vatican City (though that could be argued, hypocritically, that it peacefully separated from Italy, but…)…& I don’t know enough about Tibet’s history before the middle of the last century to comment on that one in all honesty.

Some (I’m assuming few and far between) might have had generally peaceful transitions to statehood or nation status, but founded on peace and love? Any current nation in existence today I mean?

Actually, of the current 195 or so countries currently in existence, can you name one formed on peace and love as an example of what you’re getting at here?

It was formed illegally by terrorists and has never won a war without outside help and pity.

They can't even beat Hamas and had to run to Trump to get Iran to stop firing missiles after 300 on target hits. They only needed 8 more hits to bring Israel to its knees. 8 desalination plants is all it takes to cripple Israel but Iran held back.

Israel attacked Iran and lost but they still exist because of mercy, pity and a Gaza full of starving Palestinian hostages who have a right to exist as Palestine.

You can't change history.
