Still a huge disconnect between the Atlantic provinces and Western Canada. It appears the Maritimes know who butters their bread while the west gets none.

I say No to an east / west pipeline.

Overall, three leaders of parties represented in the Parliament lost their seats in the election: Pierre Poilievre of the Conservative Party, Jagmeet Singh of the New Democratic Party and Jonathan Pedneault, the co-leader of the Green Party. Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People's Party of Canada, also lost in his riding of Beauce. Poilievre had held his riding for seven consecutive terms, being first elected in 2004, and his defeat was a notable upset for the Conservatives.
We'll be voting again in 6 months when the fools get stabbed in the back....with a second knife.

Once it dawns on them that the US Navy is setting up shop in Gray's Bay.

With a bit of luck, all the slimy dealings Carnage has done in the past, and the known CCP interference in the election will force him to resign.

I see this happening. Carney is made leader. Let's say he does not unperogue parliament and just goes straight into federal election. And maybe a series of interviews with CBC reporters only and he won't get any tough questions. Add a smear campaign and a bit of luck ..... maybe a Trump thrown in on the side ... and who knows.
The signs of this were there and predicted in February.

The world’s non-U.S. media was also quick to frame Canada’s race as the “Trump election.” A sample of headlines:

Canadian PM Mark Carney wins snap election upended by Trump’s threats. Le Monde (France).

Trump made Carney’s turnaround victory possible. BBC (United Kingdom).

Canada’s Liberals ride Trump backlash to comeback election victory. RNZ (New Zealand).

India’s NDTV, meanwhile, was just happy that former NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was gone. Singh has long been unpopular within conservative Indian circles for his perceived warmth towards Sikh nationalism.
