Might need nuclear energy to do so which becomes a bit of an oxymoron after selecting a location due to it's cooler climate.

All in all, the world is going to need a lot more concrete plants imo.
SMRs. Soon to be run by the likes of Amazon and Facebook for corporate use. They won't be for utility grids but to avoid them. The grid is a limiting factor to location.

No. Not at all. The Liberal party and the now admittedly collapsed green economy never went away.

What's is their stance on Ukraine, Houthis, Iran, Taiwan, BRICS, the recession, housing, and health.

We've heard nothing. Zero
Depends on who you ask, and what time of day. Don't even ask at happy hour.

How many people do you speak with in a day that are high on Carney ? Where do you see adoring crowds gather to hear him ? Do you really think Canadians are embracing the Liberal party ?
Everyone on the media welfare. Much of OntariOWE and the welfare provinces.

Zero, but I’m out here where I am on the Canadian Prairies, & not in the GVA or GTA or the East Coast, etc…

I’m watching the scoreboard, & though all (most of) the close ridings that’re undecided are being painted red, it’s sure not where things where at (less say) January 19th 2025…& it won’t be what they’re showing…but it’s sure been tampered with via Trump, & it’s not hurting Carneys odds & I don’t think that’s an accident.

I came to this on my own, but stumbled across this tonight waiting on Lisa before we hit a movie on Netflix:
(YouTube & I expect Ottawa will quietly fold shortly after the vote," says President of firm with Liberal ties)
Of that there is no doubt.

"Interference is one thing," Smith told the Alberta legislature on Monday. "Asking the US to refrain from [tariffs] is actually the opposite. I do not want to see anyone interfere in our elections."

But…but…the Liberals, meanwhile, have used it as political ammunition to bolster their attack line that Trump and Poilievre are too similar for Canadians who want to stand up to the US.😉

Poilievre, for his part, has attempted to dodge these attacks on the campaign trail. Asked about Smith's remarks, he said: "People are free to make their own comments. I speak for myself."

It's going to be a long month.
True dat. I am already tired of election bullshit. Politicians should not be allowed to put up signs or campaign, or do media interviews until 1 week before the vote. And voting day should be carved in stone. No more voting at the whim of the current PM.
One more I want to add to that that affects many of us is, anyone currently holding any elected office that resigns to run in a different election must pay the entire cost of the by election for their former seat, regardless of the outcome of the current election. There are several in BC that currently are provincial or muni politicians that are seeking federal office. Some have barely been in for a year. This costs local taxpayers a minimum of $100 000 to fill that vacancy for no good reason except someone's ego boost.

Such hostility is entirely understandable, given the repeated, provocative and disrespectful declarations by Vance’s boss, Donald Trump, that the US plans to annex Greenland and may do so illegally and by force.
(Didn’t the US sign something similar with Ukraine regarding surrendering nuclear weapons?)
Greenland is the perfect place to build AI data centers.

In reality it's geographically North America and should be aligned with North America.
And by North America, does that mean Trumps America (?) or what the Greenlanders decide for themselves?

“Nice country you got there, be a shame if something happened to it…Panama Canada Gaza Greenland.”
Bananas to make the chimps scream. It's entertaining.
I wonder how much bananas go for per pound kilogram in Greenland?
Alas, it seems that the sheer obnoxiousness of the Vances’ trailed visit was the thing that fatally repulsed the locals, leaving US organisers with no choice but to commute the trip down to just one secure base visit.

It’s reported that advance-party administration officials went door to door in Greenland trying to find a local family who would be pleased to welcome Usha and her large adult son Mike Waltz into their humble dwelling – presumably in order that they could say something like: “Wow, what a beautiful humble home you have. Be a real shame if anything happened to it …”

Strangely, no such family was forthcoming. It’s almost as if people in Greenland have the internet, and are able to read or watch the constant and intensifying statements on their country’s potential annexation by the covetous US president, Donald Trump. “It’s an island … that we need,” observed Trump with chilling mildness earlier this week. “And we’re going to have to have it.”

Further matter-of-fact justifications have been repeatedly forthcoming. “We need greater national security purposes [sic],” ran another. “I’ve been told that for a long time, long before I even ran [for president]. People really don’t even know that Denmark has any legal right to it, but if they do, they should give it up because we need it for national security.” Spoken with all the kindly rationale of the school bully explaining you should give up your lunch money because he needs it.
The art of the deal. Anyway, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that reciprocal tariffs he is set to announce this week will include all nations, not just a smaller group of 10 to 15 countries with the biggest trade imbalances.

(White House economics adviser Kevin Hassett recently told Fox Business that the administration's tariffs focus would be on 10 to 15 countries with the worst trade imbalances, though he did not list them, though that was sooo 90 minutes ago so that’s outdated)

I haven’t heard if he’s threatened the entire globe yet, but if they retaliate against his tariffs, then he will double or triple or quadruple tariffs upon the American population, etc…yet.

Trump has promised to unveil a massive tariff plan on Wednesday, which he has dubbed "Liberation (from America pockets) Day." He has already imposed tariffs on aluminum, steel and autos, along with increased tariffs on all goods from China.
Trumps tariff threats are like a broken metronome being kicked around the room by a pack of six year olds in their consistency.

"Looks like we're going to tariff Guatemala," Trump said with a smile. "We're going after bananas. 🙊Guatemala has taken advantage of the United States with its banana trade for too long and I'm going to make them pay."
At publishing time, Trump accidentally dropped the hat and spilled hundreds of country names all over the floor, inadvertently revealing Canada had been placed in the hat over 400 times.

US doesn't need Greenland. For what? To defend N. America from Russia? Why when the chimps say Putin and Trump are such good buddies? Are they going to divide it up like they will Ukraine?

BTW bananas are $6.24CAD/kg in Nuuk.
