Or make you more patriotic and feel youre the victor when given a massive upperhand in a financial union.
Is that Trumps plan as he’s entering a trade war with much of the globe simultaneously & tanking the US stock market at the same time (?) as that doesn’t seem to fit the Trump persona.

Billionaires can buy when the market dips, repeatedly, to Trumps on & off & on & off & on threats…& they’ll benefit…but nobody else will.

Right now I’m just feeling disgust & exhaustion, but no more or less patriotic than I always have felt.

You already know whats going on. You just haven't accepted it yet.

Globalism died Feb 24 2022 and the bipolar world you knew and loved is now multipolar. Trump didnt fire the first shots. He isnt trying to set up a rival reserve currency that will leave you personally dirt poor.

What did you think it would look like when shit hit the fan and the big economies hunker down?

Why arent you buying and selling? Do you need to be a billionaire to take advantage or hold tight.

Gold cracked $3000. Were you unaware of the opportunity that gold was as good as gold?

There is a reason over the past few months 350t of gold magically appeared in the Comex vaults in NYC. What do you think that reason is?

So this all goes back to Russia invading Ukraine again, & the Putin/Trump Bromance is just for show, etc.. ?

That’s why Trump is throwing out Russian talking points and making a point of trying to embarrass each political ally individually in the “Zelenskyy chair” in the oval office?

Special emphasis on Canada because Russia. Sounds as plausible as any other explanation. Trump is just trying to mirror Putin to wake everyone up, and the collateral damage to all is just a side effect.

Hell, why not? So how long does this horseshit go on before he flips the switch? I’m tired now.

The president's team spent the weekend on U.S. TV news programs repeating the claim that Canada imposes 250 per cent dairy tariffs. They did not explain how dairy duties actually work or note that the U.S. also has industry-related tariffs of its own and a highly subsidized agricultural market, but Shhhh!!!🤫
(YouTube & Clearing Up the Canada Tariff Misinformation)
(Under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement on trade, also called CUSMA, most importers don't actually pay those high tariffs on Canadian dairy. Canada uses "tariff rate quotas," which place a limit on the quantity of a product that can be imported at a lower tariff rate. CUSMA was negotiated during the first Trump administration to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement)

When asked about the legitimacy of the tariffs Sunday, President Trump’s top economic adviser Kevin Hassett insisted Canada is a major source of fentanyl.

No you know why Canadian procuers dont grow corn. Its not that we cant, we cant compete.
Yet I’ve seen them. Not in the same quantities as wheat or oats or barley or canola…but they’re out there…few and far between…but I’ve seen them close to home.

I don’t even pretend to know more than what I do and I’m very ignorant on this topic (agricultural crops), but like peas, or lentils, etc…there are corn fields (again, a few and far between, but easy to identify) out here on the prairie.

So…Howard Luddite has come out with the explanation behind Trumps tariffs, & it’s not fentanyl, or other countries defence spending, or so on or so forth…it’s a straight up racketeering power play to hold the globe hostage against access to the US market. Seriously…the rest is bullshit.
(YouTube & Full interview: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Trump's tariffs moves)

Canada just happens to be in the unenviable position of being resource rich, and cut off from the rest of the world except the US by oceans. There’s the focus on Canada from Trump. If you don’t believe it, listen to it from this guy’s own mouth above. There’s the whole 51st state thing in a nutshell. Trump wants Canada to be America’s personal piggy bank as he holds the rest of the world for ransom…

…but we’re not another country here, we’re a vault of resources America (in Trumps MAGA mind) that’s already an American possession…so we get the first most thorough “convincing” to surrender willingly or if not than less than willingly.

"Tariffs are now a global policy of the United States," said David Paterson, Ontario's representative in Washington. "And this is a historic change to global trading patterns, and [the Americans are] very aware of that."

Paterson, along with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Canada's ambassador to the U.S., Kirsten Hillman, and federal cabinet ministers, met with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer — the point people on Trump's trade agenda.

The focus of the U.S. government is dealing with its yearly deficit in federal spending, Paterson said. According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the federal government ran a $1.83 trillion US deficit in the 2024 fiscal year.

There are three ways the U.S. government is working to cut down that deficit, Paterson added.

The first is a major budget resolution that calls for trillions of dollars in spending and tax cuts, and the second is slashing the size of government through Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. The third is tariffs, which are meant to be a new revenue source and attract investment into the United States.

Paterson said the American plan is to impose tariffs by sector across countries all around the world on April 2. From there, the countries that “get along” (= don’t fight back against the global shakedown) with the U.S. the best will be "first in line" to adjust or mitigate the tariffs…eventually, maybe…

"This is the policy. This is the way they're going forward," Paterson said. "And I think [Thursday] gave us a lot of clarity."

In an interview on Rosemary Barton Live airing Sunday, Hillman, Canada's ambassador to the U.S., said the Americans walked the Canadians through Trump's trade agenda and gave them a chance to ask questions and explain how Trump's trade disruptions are hurting the Canadian economy.

Hillman described the meeting as "concrete" and appreciated the conversations, but she noted that nothing changed in terms of the ongoing trade war between Canada and the U.S…& nothing will in Trumps mind until Canada capitulates, completely.

Canada is to be America’s resource, piggy bank, & example to others simultaneously. I think we need to fight back tooth & nail. Trumps Bromance with Putin, and his weird appearance at the Justice Department talking about Al Capone & vengeance upon Trumps enemies make more sense now.

The initial shakedown focussing on those that spend the most buying US products, and will fan out from there. This below is from two years ago.

It is hard to get a clear idea of what old Donnie is trying to get as an end-game. I question if what he wants to do is create complete chaos for the USA in the world market, and is doing it with a tariff war as a discise. The reason he says, 8-10, or is it almost 100, have little reason that would make a sane person think his reasons are sane.

It takes a shit ton of water to make corn profitable from talking to producers they need at least 90 bshls/acre to make a profit in the Glenboro region with irrigation they average between 100-120 bshls/acre at 2-2.50 dollars/bshl that was a couple years ago, in puts around $150-200/acre

Maybe take off the blinders so you can see better, the whole goal is to bring back manufacturing to the USA to profit all Americans that's what MAGA is about
