Nothing to be ashamed of . If the U.S. is successful we ride on their coat tails . A rising tide raises all boats as they say . I am not so naive to think that this trade dispute won’t get settled once we put our own political house in order . What is the benifit to America negotiating with a lame duck . Trump is who the Americans put in the White House , we cannot change that fact . From the polls I see they would still vote him in again . All Canada‘s collective hatred of Trump changes nothing except blood pressure .
Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

And Liberal resurgence.
Congratulations on more of the same.

Soviet agents but shows a nazi . Another smart guy .
Maybe he’s trying to show something else?

 Know what the difference between the Soviets and the nazis was? Aside from the obvious, the people who were "privileged" enough to experience life under both said, "Nothing". That's the difference. Living in fear is living in fear. Two different ideologies, very, very similar methodology.
This time Poland Ukraine will get divided properly…

I agree what I've been reading is the plan is to put the disputed areas under UN controlled seize fire, and allow UN observed elections in the areas to vote whether to stay with Russia or rejoin Ukraine. In my opinion this plan will force WWIII quicker than the present situation due to how the peace keeping nations will react when Russia refuses them and attacks their troops.
How well will a vote work when Russians have been moved into Crimea and now probably outnumber the people born there?
Poo tin should be treated the same as Hamas. Elimination is in order.

Nope the realists tell the truth . We pissed away our birthright and celebrate it . Enjoy the decline .
Newsflash: The whole world has gone into decline.

And you're not a realist, you're a fatalist. Realists know in this kind of case that things can be changed. Happens all the time. See, people like you got soft and were happy to ride the status quo because life was pretty comfortable in Canada for a while there. As long as some bit of govt bullshit didn't negatively impact us in a noticeable or substantial way "we" were happy to let it slide.
Govt heaving more responsibility onto un-elected bodies like the courts and HRC's to avoid having to make actual decisions that might negatively affect their poor little ratings and re-election hopes. And Canadians yawned.
The govt temporarily suspended our rights and froze bank accounts over a pretty fucking peaceful protest and some dude named Yuri from Arkansas donating 5 bucks or something and there were too many Canadians who were dumb enough to cheer and support the suspension of their own civil rights over that shit.
The rest still did nothing.
Don't blame govts for getting away with shit that we allow them to get away with. You think the Canadian govt has any real power over Canadians? If 250,000 people or more marched on Parliament Hill demanding change, not just of govt but of how it fucking works, what could the govt do? Call out the military that they've treated like shit for decades to defend and protect them? The police who's backs they haven't had for the last 9+ years?

If a crime (often fraud) is exposed in Govt, call the cops. As a stakeholders in the Corporation known as Canada LLC 1982 we have a Right to press charges in instances of being scammed by an employee or contractor.

Cops have to investigate every complaint. It doesn’t take 250,000 people to file charges in every cop shop in Canada.

Like a call center in India, it takes going to local cops in numbers (but not big numbers) to have it go up the chain to where it cant be ignored.

Financial crimes need to have actual incarceration instead of fines and 6 month sentences that get wiped by being under bond during dragged out legal procedures.
