Thank you for that excellent example of non-scientific weaponized semantics.

In answer to your specific question, no. No larger "sample group" should have been used, because this trash is "science" like Scientology.

I neither fall for it nor get OUTRAGED by it.

Then again, I don't live in Saskatucky, so I've got better things to do.
Weaponized? How is pointing to the "science" as used outrageous?

Despite how 'in line' what you said usually goes with Jin
Yeah fuck you too. When you've personally FLOWN someone 1500 miles (3000 miles round trip) for gender reassignment surgery then come tell me how much you give a shit about trans people. And that was in the '90s before it was "cool".
Remember all the stink over Jenner about how "brave and beautiful" she was? Yeah, real brave. Belongs to a billionaire family of freak-a-zoids to begin with and lives in Beverly Hills. Brave is being trans in a small mining town in the '90s where everybody knows who you are.

Sorry Jin, not a pilot. Too much math involved in it though I do enjoy it. And my brother, who was one, let his license go.

Now, if someone came to me, or someone I know, wanted GRS and needed to be driven to Montreal, sure, absolutely, I'll book time off. Drive em there, chill for a day or two and then drive em home again.

But I wouldn't do it JUST because they're trans, mind you. I'd do it because that's the kind of person I am.

for gender reassignment surgery then come tell me how much you give a shit about trans people.

You know why I "give a shit" about trans people?

Because I'm under that same umbrella.

It's because trans people are PEOPLE and deserve to be themselves even if assholes like you exist to demand they DON'T exist. When assholes like you would rather see dead kids than kids who can grow up to be who they fucking are, whoever/whatever that is.

And I also have something called empathy. Maybe you should try to get it someday.

And that was in the '90s before it was "cool".

In the 90's I was in high school so... yeah, not able to do that shit back then.

Being trans is "cool"?

Goddamn... that's news Trans people will love to hear! They won't have to worry about DYING now, or being abused or raped or all the other shit that happens to them, because we all know when something's "Cool" it's now totally okay... right?

Remember all the stink over Jenner about how "brave and beautiful" she was?

Yeah, "beautiful" is a matter of fucking opinion.

"Brave", I'll give her that at least, but then she unlike almost all other trans people, can afford to be "Brave".

Yeah, real brave. Belongs to a billionaire family of freak-a-zoids to begin with and lives in Beverly Hills.

EXACTLY.

Most trans people have no fucking love for Caitlyn and there's lots of reasons why.

Brave is being trans in a small mining town in the '90s where everybody knows who you are.

EXACTLY.

JFC, do you actually GET it, or are you just taking some maybe personal experience and using it as a token excuse to say "I know trans people" while you continue to hate on people who are trans?

Yep, like the 'Nam vets. . . "You don't know, man. You weren't there!"

The thesis is that unless you personally participate in an issue, usually a long or especially arduous participation, you cannot have a valid opinion on it.

This place uses every single logical fallacy in the book, like a cheap bar.

You dont like me pointing that "gender as a social construct" comes from penitentary drag queens?

Thats "the science".
Of course you're right. Surest evidence of that is that, before the modern penitentiary system, Johnny Quarterback and Susie Cheerleader were the only two sexes/genders/roles in the entire world.

You have a truly. . . transparent way of finding a document that supports your feelings, and declaring it, ex Saskatchewanna, the Revealed Troof on the subject.

Kenzie amd Money concocted the "gender is a social construct". Am I stopping you in anyway from reading their works?

I’m still microwaving yesterday‘s Joe, & the next cup will be a fresh from this morning cup. Rotgut is still about 13hrs away if I opt for it.
Try a "culo del diablo." Shot of whiskey in a shot of espresso. My own invention. Accounts for my sunny, gentle personality.

It's -4 here, with about 4 cm of snow, expecting up to 20 cm. The local news is acting like it's the end of the damn world.

I figure it'll be an "evolution in action" day.

My day started at 5 AM with a phone call from a panic guy on the side of the road who had a fire under his truck. One of those DPF/DEF things that are designed to bankrupt drivers, being highly problematic, hugely expensive, that lower mileage, decreased profits, and make trucks unreliable.

I’m getting him towed into Minneapolis & he & his dog into a hotel room so that I can arrange to get them loaded up and hauled to Canada where he can get this repaired without paying a 40% premium due to the value of the Canadian peso in America.
