In an odd sort of way, we do. In a small remote town on the West Coast, after the local mill shut down things were tough. A Vietnamese family was found to be collecting slugs to eat. Made the papers all around the area. Much indignation about how the government was letting people down, Without any investigation, naturally. Turns out they had been doing this for several years because they cooked the slugs up in some dish. I personally think this is gross, but I don't do sea cucumbers either.
