After the better part of a decade of this clown show, today we are getting this:

Not focused on politics?!? Is he for fucking real? That's all his "policies" have been for the last 10 years, politics over policy.
This summer, several Liberal MPs added their names to the growing list of those who won’t be seeking re-election, including a handful of cabinet ministers. Several of those bowing out of the next contest hold seats in ridings that will be tough races to win, especially with an unpopular leader. They have been told to hold announcements, if they can, until January.

The news of Jagmeet Singh ending the coalition between the Liberals and New Democratic Party would be enough to ruin any politician’s week. Then it was revealed that Trudeau’s campaign director for the next election was quitting because he doesn’t think the PM can win.
Now, add to that Friday’s unemployment numbers that showed the jobless rate is up at 6.6% and that we lost 44,000 full-time jobs in August all while adding just shy of 100,000 new people to the labour market.
Can anyone smell proroguing coming from the Liberal kitchen??? Parliament is supposed back to school September 16th for its Fall sitting…but with the Liberals all retreating to one coastline or another ‘cuz carbon footprint’s…& maybe a heart to heart with Justin…& maybe…maybe they can convince him that from the river to the sea, the Liberals should be Trudeau Free!
If that happens, to buy time, to find someone to parachute in Kamala-style, who doesn’t have the stench of Trudeau cooties on them, to avoid a confidence vote, that Jagmeet would probably back the Liberals on anyway, ‘cuz the NDP aren’t financially ready for an election either & have three provincial elections to lose this Fall first…would Trudeau stall parliament coming back into session in just over a week?
Would it be a big surprise if the first order of business for Conservatives as soon as they get a chance to was to table a non-confidence motion in the government when Parliament returns on September 16th?
Would Trudeau, depending on who and how many at the Liberal caucus tell him to piss off already, delay Parliament returning September 16th? If the Liberal MP’s are united enough to convince Trudeau to go?

They don't have to. The Throne Speech is a confidence vote and will be the first vote of the session. I don't think TrueDope will go. What is the current seat breakdown? Does TrueDope need the NDP to vote yes or just their absence from parliament for the vote good enough to pass the confidence vote?
Interesting question now. How many of the ones that are abandoning ship are already out, and how many are just nor running again?

The vacants can't vote. One of the 154 is the speaker. If the NDP abstain 100% and all other opposition parties vote against, the government will lose 156-153. If the greens and independent's abstain, it will be a 153-153 tie and the speaker will automatically vote for the government (even if he was not Liberal).
