Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

I suspect in this next election the Libs will get crushed and the NDP won't be far behind in the crushing category too.

At this point NO one really wants either of them.
The Angus Reid Institute asked Canadian voters whether the Liberals changing leaders would make them more or less likely to cast a ballot for the party and the results … they weren’t good for the Liberals.

This comes days after the Institute released a poll showing the Liberals holding just 16% support among decided and leaning voters behind the NDP at 21% and the Conservatives at 45%.

So this would put the Liberals between the NDP and the Greens, & put the Bloc between the Conservatives and the NDP.
For this latest poll, ARI asked not just decided and leaning voters but also those who are undecided and those who don’t normally vote. The results found in the poll would still result in a massive majority for Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives and a pummeling defeat for the Liberals. Oh well.

You don't have a government now.
We have a government in waiting, a parliament in waiting, etc…but do we have a federal government right now? Canada will be effectively without a government for weeks (which probably really means months), solely so the Liberals can conduct a sort of American Idol for bilingual Laurentians who graduated from McGill.

Search high and low for Miss Waterbuffalo. Where are they going to find a drug free trans native to lead the party?

I’ve posted this below statement into another thread, but I think it’s applicable here also.

I have been trying to mentally sort out what the purchase price for Jagmeet Singh & the NDP Party will be on March 24th, when the Canadian Parliament is allowed to actually sit again due to a procurement bill….that Justin & the Libs will need passed, and I think I might’ve figured it out.

I was leaning towards Jagmeet Singh being thrown the bone of an ambassadorship to Britain or France…by the Libs before they’re shown the door, which would buy his loyalty, but not the rest of his party’s, so it just didn’t fit.

To purchase (rent, anyway) the loyalty of the rest of the NDP party…here’s my best guess at this point. It’s the election date.

If the election happens on before Oct 20th, 2025, then a whole pile of Libs & NDP MP’s that got elected in 2019, & are toast, they don’t get pension because they’ve missed the golden parachute date by one day!!!

At this point, I think the purchase price for NDP support of the Liberals on March 24th is extending the mandatory election date past October 20th 2025 far enough so that all the outgoing Liberal & NDP MP’s elected in 2019 we all get pensions that they wouldn’t otherwise get, indexed to inflation, for six years of service, for life!!!

I think that’s the price, and I think the deal is already made, and that’s what fits into Trudeau’s timing, so I don’t think we’re gonna see an election until after October 21st 2025 regardless of what the elections act states.

This will help. Where does Unifor membership sit politically? Not management but membership. Which party will most likely give Canadas largest union members a future?

I have no idea. Where do they sit politically? Not management but membership?

At one point, I would’ve said NDP, but now? After nine years of the liberals, & 30 months of this non-coalition coalition that’s definitely not a coalition type coalition? I just don’t know. Where do they sit?

Management backed the Liberals who scratched the Union's back causing skin damage is one thing.

As for the membership, Im sure they're struggling along like everyone else afraid Govt contracts and subsidies for goods and services they provide will disappear or exports plummet. I can only guess at their leanings at this point.

CUPE too should be shitting bricks.
