As many as 1.1 million Ukrainian war refugees applied for free flights to Canada prior to a July 15 deadline, says a Department of Immigration memo, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.
And “there is no limit” on the number that will be allowed into the country.
As of Oct. 23, Ukrainian war refugees with a Canadian citizen in their extended family will be allowed to seek permanent residency.
The proposal would benefit Ukrainians “from anywhere in the world” who applied through the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel by the July deadline.
So far, only 4,500 Ukrainians have immigrated to Canada through regular programs.
“This public policy is still under development,” said the memo to the Senate social affairs committee.
“The department is developing a pathway to facilitate permanent residence for in-Canada Ukrainian nationals and their family members.”
These Ukrainian numbers were not included in cabinet’s Immigration Levels Plan, which had a quota of 365,000 immigrants this year, another 485,000 in 2024 and 500,000 in 2025.
Of the 1.1 million Ukrainian applicants a total 793,804 have been approved for the free Emergency Travel permit which includes cash grants of $3,000 per adult, visa fee waivers, free work permits and two weeks’ paid hotel accommodation.
Of those, 166,849 have arrived in Canada since the war’s outbreak and cabinet has rejected any limit on Ukrainian aid.

An American influencer has been in Ukraine for months offering up her explicit content to help Ukrainian fighters.
Fan-Pei Koung, 33, of Houston, Texas, calls herself an “emotional support stripper” for soldiers in Ukraine in the ongoing war against Russian.
Koung’s OnlyFans account is free to soldiers, other military volunteers, “and the occasional local civilian” in the European nation, but she also chronicles her latest efforts on her Instagram.
She now refers to herself as a “sex tourist” as her work in Ukraine has led to a tour of intimate relationships, mostly with Ukrainian soldiers, she told the Daily Beast.
“I’m the sexy girl in Ukraine who wants to volunteer and will probably put out,” she told the outlet.
On her OnlyFans, Koung’s calls herself a “globe-trotting girlfriend, now volunteering in Kharkiv.”
Her content includes “everything from free emotional breastfeeding to soldiers and volunteers,” to “collecting donations to distribute to volunteers,” the outlet reported.
Koung left the U.S. for Europe in 2022 and competed in the Miss Taiwanese American pageant in 2015, and won a NASA Space Health Challenge (or “hackathon” as her Instagram bio reads).
Her friends were against her travelling to Ukraine to volunteer in women’s shelters and orphanages in Lviv but while she was there, she knew she “wanted more” and “wanted to be with the military.”
She moved to Ukraine full-time in February 2023, one year after the war started, and while she has more than 52,000 followers on Instagram, she has seen a drop in the number.
“I’ve lost about 5,000 followers since this whole Ukraine thing,” she told the Daily Beast. “Because I went from being a sexy influencer to a sexy influencer who won’t stop talking about Ukraine.”
Her first relationship in Ukraine was with her personal trainer, but has moved on to the Donbas region, where residents are in desperate need for water and supplies.
She said she works as an “emotional support person for English-speaking soldiers” as well as international soldiers who have come to Ukraine from other countries to fight.
“People don’t talk about the sexual needs of the people of country at war,” she said.
Koung is currently dating a Ukrainian drone operator, a power plant worker, and two information technology officers.
But some volunteers from the west were not a fan of Koung’s wartime efforts, which she found out in a group chat with fellow Westerners.
“These guys just tore me for three days straight!” she recalled. “I think there’s a couple hundred people in this group, and they said, ‘You want to make porn off of mass graves?”
She added: “If I were a man going to Ukraine to volunteer, no one would question me about anything. But since I’m a girl, it’s been a non-stop s*** show.”

I saw the movie Sound of Freedom and the stats are mortifying about human trafficking of children world-wide! How evil are we not to address this & instead mock the film as being Qanon propaganda!
