Didn't know IF was censorable, LOL.

But yeah, it's all from right wing type stuff. Which is why I am suspect of it. I'd rather an unbiased source.
It’s what I could pull up indirectly while I was at work with some kind of sensor filter on the buildings WiFi during a smoke break.

What’s not right wing type stuff? NYPost? I’m not up on What’s what from the states as far as what leans what way because it all seems to lean towards crazy for the most part.
(This is from Pre-COVID be new for this parade in Toronto. You would have to log into YouTube to see it)
(This is from Seattle)

If it's obvious from the get go it's right wing, I ignore it but if I'm not sure I'll put in who posted the story into there and see where their bias is at. I try to go with more neutral stuff, but sometimes I have read stuff from center left and center right places, since it's rare to find any pure center only publications.

Stuff like NY Post (right), Toronto Sun, Daily Mail UK all are right biased/right leaning that can go to the extreme. So I take their crap with a grain of salt.

Apparently it can be. Assume full nudity at Pride Parade’s is a thing, apparently not a new thing either, & apparently condoned or it wouldn’t be year after year, etc….I don’t think it’s helping the overall “Pride” effort or movement, but that’s from the outside not really looking in I guess. 😁

I’m assuming (I’m assuming a lot) there are different divisions in the 2SLGB & the TQ++etc…community…& this in front of children is acceptable to some not so much to others. Again from the outside looking in, I’m assuming we can expect some kind of a split in the alphabet coming to a theatre near you sort of thing….?

You’re not for ‘hang’n a rat’ in front of children in public, and neither am I, and I am assuming most, if not all the people that play in this playground are not for it. Again, I’m assuming with respect others, etc…

So maybe this type of behaviour should be expected at a pride parade and adults should not take their children there. Maybe that’s the answer is it’s condoned behaviour at Pride Parades and law-enforcement is not gonna touch that hot mess….so don’t take your children to these things?

Geez…I’m not sure when I got old, but I think it happened. I’ve read the above, and I feel like the, “Get off my Lawn!” Guy.

I think overall you'll get agreement no matter who it is, that yes - at least in North American culture - nudity in public is not a good thing especially for kids to see (won't comment on European places). And maybe the parades should have two types - family friendly during the day, party/adult ones at night - or something.

I personally don't attend regardless so most of the time I don't care. Like you, I'm looking in and have always thought the parades more to be just a different form of Mardis Gras for a month, and an excuse to party in the summer in general. By now, the whole "love/unity" has been taken over by big business and become it's own monster with the parade so unless something huge happens, I doubt you'll see it go away.

Capitalism at it's finest.

Big business has been forced into it. It's called an ESG rating. If they don't participate they face sanctions. Take ownership of the shit show you've created.

100% forced by radical lefties.

Well, this ESG and it’s “rating” smells like absolute unadulterated bullshit to me and fits right in with this nonsense I’m again assuming:

Woke-Washing & Woke-Posturing…

But maybe that’s just me and I apologize if I’m sidetracking this thread, but maybe the topic needs its own thread?

When it comes to the topic of woke, I really can't be bothered because it's such a "Fear" word now, and an insult, it's insane.

Pretty sure if the issue of "woke" had its own topic, it'd just be a circle jerk of "Woke is bad!"

Do you think Transheuser-Busch really wanted to lose $15B or was their score too low for a European Corporation and had no choice?

I hear the word “woke” & I mentally roll my eyes and gag a little bit…& if there’s an exit, I generally point towards it.

There are just so many ignorant (I’m using this in the traditional sense of being uneducated on a topic) duds out there that haven’t so much as read a news article on a subject or asked for somebody’s opinion, or tried to read more about something themselves… but are hard-core decided on a topic like this whole residential school, genocide graves twisted story without ever doing any reading of their own…and they’re ready to go to fisticuffs over it, & they don’t even wanna know the truth or any actual facts….It just makes me tired.

Anyway, sorry for the side track, and this thread is not about what I’m talking about directly anyway.

The owners of the Bud Light brand needed to know who their actual target audience was, and if they didn’t, they deserve everything they’ve gotten recently. I hope their ESG Score improved dramatically because their bottom line sure as shit hasn’t. Oh well.

After sponsoring nekkid people at an alleged "family event" their score should skyrocket.

Correction $15B is old news....they've lost $27B.

At least they still have the Snow brand and a market with the most beer drinkers on Earth....China...for now.

The Bud Light thing was blown way out of proportion by idiots.

It was ONE can sent to an influencer who shared it to her social media.

And the right had a FIT as if there would be cans with her face on it all over.

It's stupid, but also hilarious in the stupidity, tbh.
